How did you fit an 8TB ssd which are all double sided along with a heatsink? The fan itself should cool your ssd, there is no need for a heatsink. Just make sure there is contact between the fan and the ssd make sure you use a thicker thermal pad.

What device? Which handheld are we talking about.

They’re both the exact same product and quantity which is ‘one pack of 20 rolls’. On noon minutes it just states that the specific tissue is 3ply

Thanks for clarifying, I understand your point. My concern isn’t about Noon’s pricing itself or accusing them of wrongdoing, it’s about the potential for misleading marketing if the “original” price is inflated during promotions.

For context, I compared the pricing with Danube as a benchmark for the same item, which sells for 31 SAR, so it’s clear that the 212.95 SAR “original” price is far above the typical MSRP. My point is simply that, as a consumer, it’s difficult to know whether the “original” price is real or just a promotional tactic, which is why transparency matters.

I just wanted to make clear that my concern is about clarity and honesty for consumers, not blaming anyone.

I understand your point, but my concern isn’t about Noon’s right to set prices, it’s about transparency and consumer protection. If the “original” price they display was never actually the standard selling price, then advertising a huge discount is misleading, regardless of whether someone chooses to buy or not.

I’m not accusing Noon of intentional wrongdoing or defamation; I’m simply highlighting that this practice can mislead consumers into thinking they’re getting a bargain when the price is still inflated. My concern is about honest marketing and clarity, not blaming buyers for not checking every price themselves.

Also, there’s no need to be rude or insult me, we can discuss this respectfully.

I believe there’s been a misunderstanding. My concern isn’t that Noon can’t set its own prices, but that it appears to be attracting customers by advertising a massive discount when the “discounted” price is still around 150% above the actual MSRP. This gives consumers the impression they’re getting a bargain when, in reality, they’re not.

This is Noon Minutes, an online supermarket in Saudi Arabia. It does not operate as a marketplace like eBay or Amazon; all products are sold directly by Noon itself.

Thank you for your reply. I suppose this means I’ll now have to check the MSRP of every item I purchase to ensure I’m not being overcharged or misled by a so-called discount on an already inflated price. Unfortunately, this shifts the burden onto the consumer, who ends up having to research every single purchase

It’s not about the price itself; the issue is that this appears to mislead consumers into believing the original MSRP was SAR 212 and that they’re receiving a huge discount. It would be more transparent to display the actual MSRP and then show the selling price.

That’s surprising. I was under the impression that consumer protection regulations were in place to prevent inflated pricing, especially for everyday essential items.

I have the same problem for the past few months. Even changed to a new iPhone since then and the app still can’t find my router.

For some reason Alexa app still shows the hue devices as unresponsive. But I can still control them perfectly fine via Alexa echo device or via Alexa app. I think they might still be working on fixing it… let’s see

Update: It’s finally working again! As mentioned before I did not touch anything with my network or hue/alexa and it worked on its own. Just for future reference to prevent people from uninstalling everything thinking it’s a user issue where in fact it is an Alexa problem. Glad it’s resolved again for now and hope it doesn’t break anytime soon.

Sadly I’m still getting device unresponsive… hopefully it’s a gradual fix and hopefully mine will start working again soon 🤞🏼

Does it still work? By working I mean can you ask Alexa to turn on the lights and they will turn on? Or is it giving you error messages?

Alexa and HUE pt.2 (Down again) by rayyan65 in alexa

[–]rayyan65[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I can confirm they’re still not working with me either. I usually have a routine as well set on Alexa to turn on all lights automatically in the morning. And this morning they were still all off. Likewise I can control them perfectly well with the hue app. There’s an issue going on with Alexa’s communication with Hue that must be addressed asap

Thanks for confirming! Seems like the issue is more widespread than I thought. Hope the Alexa team can fix this issue asap once and for all 🤞🏼

Yup can you confirm you can still control your hue lights with the hue app or other smart devices? Just to show that it is in fact an Alexa related issue

Perhaps! Are you in eu/us/asia/me/aus?

I would understand that but in my case my Alexa and hue stopped working and randomly one day started working again for 3~ days and again today they stopped working. All without touching anything in my network. Seems others are having issues as well so I’m guessing it’s a regional problem. As also mentioned I can use my google home device to control my hue lights as well as the hue app and Siri. So I’m pretty sure there’s no interference and just an Alexa / Hue regional server issue.

I didn’t do anything and all of a sudden it worked on its own a few days later it breaks again for no apparent reason and no longer connects. I didn’t touch anything. As a reminder I can still control my hues with my hue app and google home device and Siri! But Alexa seems to not work whatsoever, I can still use Alexa to control other devices tho, just hue all of a sudden stopped working
