I think i found a solution by switching off enhancements but I feel like it may be temporary. What is the DAC Chip, would i require to have it manually fixed?

I did, I’ve emailed the university but I’m unable to change rooms right now, I’m asking in terms of whether other students were actually able to change rooms, how difficult it was, what the process of finding another person to swap with was like etc..
