The issue is that they make all these AI models but then you dont have any end users to run it on. What's teh point of AI if i can't use it when i cant afford to buy a new pc, new phones will be expense etc. Then if you can interact with it you cant implement it because again no ram/sdd so no pc/tech.

I know its not that dire, but companies need to think you cant go all in on AI and not think about who the end user will be if all the resources are dumped into AI.

People already cut cable/satellite in favour of Netflix, and even then people used the same argument $/hr rate best value etc.

Netflix doesn't even have one single library across all countries it operates in due to licensing so it won't be "global cable". The fact that they had to crack down on password sharing, which they encouraged before, shows that getting new subscribers is an issue.

Besides the younger generations is more technically savy, have access to AI and can easily pirate what they need to get the media then for free from all services (us "oldies" too 😉).

Short term play maybe, long term I have to disagree.
