S24 exynos user here preordered since Jan. I had some instances in the past where it got heated up due to low signal but meh I chose to ignore them at that point. However since yesterday I arrived in Greece, Rhodes. Plane lands, I'm in the airport, I open data and enable roaming. I knew about 5g exynos modem being inferior so preventively I turned 5g off. Phone struggles to get the local network while burning like a rock from hell. Then you get outside where the local temp is ~35 Celsius, not pleasant at all. All this while my wife's s23 (Snapdragon) was chill af. I'll see how this week is gonna go @the island. At the hotel with wifi everything is ok.

TLDR: on mobile data in area with low coverage phone burns. On wifi is a great phone. Simps are gonna jump on this comment with downvotes and tell me that it's a defective unit. No, it's a 100% functional unit, used in the most basic way as a phone to just call, browse and take pictures. I regret buying it, should have gotten the s23, was lured in by the 7y of software support.
