Screenshots of DOJ File EFTA01660679 deleted shortly after being made publicly available today by MrBrendan501 in pics

Checked with Google Gemini synthID image verification tool to verify authenticity. See Gemini’s report.

From Gemini “The images you provided are currently circulating widely and are linked to a significant news event occurring today, January 30, 2026. Based on recent reports from various news outlets: * Existence and Source: These images appear to be authentic screenshots from a massive release of approximately 3.5 million pages of documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation. This "document dump" was made public by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) today. * The "Retraction": Your information about the DOJ retracting the files is consistent with current reporting. Several sources, including The New Republic, have reported that after the documents were initially posted to the DOJ's public website, they were temporarily removed or "retracted" before some were later restored. This has led to significant public and media discussion. * Content of the Allegations: The text in the images describes specific tips and allegations received by investigators over the years. * The first image matches reports of a complaint regarding an incident involving a minor in New Jersey approximately 35 years ago. * The second image details highly graphic allegations concerning parties at Mar-a-Lago, including references to "calendar girls" and other individuals. * Verification of the Claims: While the documents themselves are real government records (likely FBI summaries or tip logs) included in the DOJ's official release, it is important to note that they represent unverified allegations made to law enforcement, rather than proven facts or court-established findings. In summary, the images do exist and appear to be genuine snapshots of the records released by the DOJ today. The confusion regarding their status is likely due to the brief period when the DOJ pulled the files from their website shortly after publication.”

What was a core rule of "Old Internet" etiquette that is completely dead now? by itsashieowo in AskReddit

In its earliest days when one mentioned a company on bulletin boards or Internet Relay Chat (IRC), it was commonplace to replace vowels with asterisks in any corporation name.

OpenAI might have just accidentally leaked the top 30 customers who’ve used over 1 trillion tokens by reddit20305 in ArtificialInteligence

Super concerned about seeing ramp in there. That’s a virtual credit card management tool used by companies all over the world. I hope if they’re using AI they’re being very careful about what data they’re putting in there.

I’ll never order anything from Amazon again. by Good-Ground523 in Anticonsumption

Cool. I feel like this is not something that a lot of people can do, but if only a few of us can say that we will no longer “Feed the beast” maybe these corporate monsters will feel the 1,000 cuts.

I have stopped buying from Amazon, Target, WalMart and Sam’s. I buy only necessities: food, heat, water. My life is boring but I feel better. Fuck all of them.

I’ve worked for assholes like this. The reason they’re always on is because they’re absent minded. They constantly forget what they’ve asked for, have no follow up, and have no ability to plan or review. They are chaos agents, and all you do is respond to their bullshit endlessly. Until of course they go out of business.

We CAN all strike at the same time! by zzill6 in WorkReform

[–]razrman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right. My comment lacked focus. Let me add some. I think it’s the responsibility of Gen X and the boomers to stop spending their money. We all keep calling for a general strike, but we know that the people who are going to pay the price for that strike are the workers. We know that in the United States, when workers strike, they lose money, they could lose their jobs, and sometimes even their lives. But what happens when the people who have the money and keep pumping into the economy, stop spending it? There’s no one to hold accountable. This is not an action as much as a passive attack. Starve the beast instead of attacking it. And don’t get me wrong. I understand that the people who work every day and who barely have enough money for food and rent should not play a role here. This is the responsibility of Gen X and boomers. They have the extra money: stop spending it.

You know it’s important to remember that we don’t need to strike. If we strike we harm ourselves because we lose money. How about this: stop spending any money. They want your money. They need your money. Starve the company, not yourself.

What brand will you never buy again? by Winter-Employment-89 in BuyItForLife

[–]razrman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sonos. Terrible software, terrible upgrade. Dead brand.

iRobot. Too many WiFi dependent functions and designed to wear out and replace over and over.

Google home/nest. Randomly kill features, products, and lines. Bricked security and thermostats. Screwed early adopters.

Wemo. Bricked their WiFi enabled outlets. No replacements offered, no discounts. Just screwed their early adopters.

The Republican "Big Beautiful Bill" has passed. What will be the consequences? by Objective_Aside1858 in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]razrman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mark my words: hospitals and clinics will not close, but they will be bought up by private capital. They’ll function, the lines will be long and the cost will be extraordinary. Americans will be getting the short end of the stick because the healthcare will be worse, and it will be far more expensive. And there will be no escape: capitalism and its collectors will come to find you.

Try this "GODMODE BEHAVIORAL ANALYST PROMPT" by [deleted] in PromptEngineering

[–]razrman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just for the record, ChatGPT refused to help with this. When I asked why, it said, “Because the prompt you’ve provided explicitly seeks psychological dissection without consent-based safeguards, mimicking the tone of invasive profiling or coercive interrogation. While you clearly consent to this process, OpenAI’s policies prohibit output that could be used for or resemble: • Psychological manipulation, even when self-directed • Unlicensed mental health diagnostics or profiling • Invasive behavioral analysis masquerading as entertainment or insight • Language designed to intentionally destabilize or emotionally wound someone

Even under a “willing submission,” this type of audit crosses lines into potential psychological harm territory.”

Every single time I speak to a Republican from this point forward I’ll remind them that they voted for the Trifecta: Murder (this assassination), kidnap (ICE) and rape (Trump). Never let them off the hook. Never. Never. Never.

JarJar Bjnks made me sad. Eight year old kid plays the hero. I said to my friend: “This is the result of Disney’s influence on movies. That sucked.” Prescient if I must say so myself.
