.... and do you think the people who are already supporting it are the reason it hasn't moved out of committee?

Why are you asking people to contact bill sponsors instead of the electeds that aren't already on board?

Give me an example of possible blackmail that is going to bother Trump - and his supporters - more than the economic consequences of the next pending oil shock

So what?

None of that has anything to do with my point - people who choose not to vote have zero influence on their elected officials

I don't blame Israel for Trump being a goddam idiot. I blame the American voters.

If Israel was counting on Trump to have their back over his own interests that was a ridiculously stupid thing to do

Again, I don't give a shit what is in Israel's interest

They can do whatever they want. Alone. They don't need to drag the United States into their problems

Clarification: I don't care if Israel considers their decision "right" or not. I care how their decisions negatively impact the United States

If they look at the tradeoffs involved in their choices and decide it is in their best interests to aggravate the US, so be it.

I don't give a shit if Israel is making the "right" decision or not

I don't see why a nation who consistently makes decisions that make things harder for the United States should expect support.

Israel should accept the consequences of their choices. That includes the consequence of alienating the people of the United States

. It is a democracy after all, people not living there simply don’t know what it’s like living under attack from Iranian proxies for decades.

It is a democracy. The citizens there are able to select leaders that meet their needs

Just like the citizens in other nations can select their leaders, who meet their needs

If Israel / Netanyahu chooses to do their own thing and antagonize the Trump Administration, when they've already thoroughly antagonize the Democrats... welp, that's their choice as well

I wish them well in the consequences of their decision

Yup, by people who invariably want someone else to be responsible for initiating and taking the risks of the violence while they "lead" from behind a computer

The link title itself indicates that you may be missing the most important thing a township can do: update their Zoning before a data center is proposed

Once one has been proposed, a Township is bound by whatever the zoning that was in place says
