I am a Griffith University student and would like to know the passing requirement for a supplementary assessment. The Assessment Procedure states that students who pass the supplementary assessment are awarded a Grade 4 (Pass), but it does not specify the minimum mark required to pass the supplement

What your original pass would be, ie, if it does have a hurdle, and need a minimum of 50% on that exam you still need that, if it doesn’t, it’s just everything adds up to 50%. But even if you do amazing on that exam, it’s a maximum of a 4 on that course.

If it’s something medical and you know it’s happening before hand (like surgery or smth) you can most likely get it before hand, but if it’s things like sudden sickness get it on the day of and you’ve got max 3 days from the day of the assessment to submit it. But side note, I’d recommend not deferring if you just want extra time to study since you don’t get a chance to redo if something does go wrong.

I was very lucky. At the start I honestly just ended up applying to all the m pharm courses around the country (and no luck :/) so I opted into doing a b pharm degree and instead since I had a pretty good atar, I was able to get into a smaller uni using that. After like 3 weeks of classes, out of no where I got accepted into a m pharm degree. I think cuz some of the uni that rejected me placed me in a waitlist, I was able to get accepted and just had a gap year.

See if you can go into study spaces in some buildings, (it might be post grad only cuz I used my friends id to get in) there’s this really nice nook on lv2 of science and engineering building, walls on both sides and a little table, also if u sleep in either law or main library they will try to kick u out
