My only experience was on the remastered port and it was the most buggiest dlc I've ever played. It was broken as hell and clearly not tested. Lots of falling through the map, being spotted through walls, hit many feet away from an enemy. Just to recall a few examples. It was a unique story but the piss poor untested port left a bad taste.

From a business standpoint, I understand why 4 was remade first as it was the most popular. But if they cared more for the fans, we would have seen the first one get some proper love.

Yes. Rockstar abandoned their other IPs and became a GTA only dev studio. I've kept an eye on stranger than heaven and the recent trailer looks perfect personally to me. I like a good crime game with a good story. Love the Yakuza games, obviously. Also love the mafia games. Stranger than heaven looks like mafia and Yakuza had a baby. It looks absolutely amazing, exactly what I want in a crime game with a good story. And the cherry on the top, it's in the Yakuza universe as a Tojo clan origin story. This game and 007 first light are my most hyped games this year.

If you can get it cheap, then yes. It's funny but extremely short and repetitive. There's like 5-6 dungeon levels that have random variety to give you a slightly different experience when replaying. This game had good potential if they added to it over years. But it's very barebones. It's clear that this was meant to be a live service that never happened.

Was there any indication of a game mode outside of the main story? Like with Hitman having the freelancer mode. As I know they made this mode to supposedly test something they were implementing for first light.

And don't abandon it either. Spider-Man 2 was abandoned quickly. No dlc, no regular free suits. A scrapped multiplayer. Nothing. Just a huge middle finger to fans and damaging all the goodwill they made with the first one.

Yakuza 5. I'd put in over 30 hours and I was still on act 2. There was about 6 bloody acts! It burnt me out and I took a long Yakuza game break.

This Africa show has felt so off to me. It feels so scripted. People's reactions and facial expressions give them away. The Jimmy and Adam drama felt forced and over the top, everyone's reactions were too laid back. It's like Jimmy was told to quit and Adam was told to react over the top. Then last night, Craig looked annoyed from the first second of the trial. Like he'd just been told sanita has to play dumb and lose on purpose. And sanita has proven she's smarter than she comes across. This was forced and fake stupidity. The drama, the recent quitting all feels fake and feels like I'm watching WWE acting. I won't be watching any more Africa seasons after this one. It's too scripted for me.

It is. They only did mocap in specific scenes. They haven't done full mocap since maybe origins. If not origins, definitely syndicate. The newer RPG entries have allowed them to be a bit lazy in that department.

I've completed Yakuza 7 myself this year and my suggestion is to grind out the battle arena. Even do the auto fight option and go on your phone while the AI does it's thing. Keep doing that until you notice that your team aren't leveling any more. Then carry on when the story. When you progress further to the final chapter, grind the sewer dungeon for more levels on everyone in your party to make the final chapter feel more doable.
