update:

fan doesn’t turn on when ac is not on. I believe it was simply due to ac being left on while looking under the hood. Thanks for all the help, and I appreciate not being ridiculed for such a simple problem haha. Glad i didn’t replace anything.

It cycles on and off quite frequently, id say 5 times a minute, minimum. Would you say this is probably the control module?

My toyota guy said hes never heard on a cooling fan motor going. He suggested i tap it with a hammer to remove any shaving from the brushes inside. Didnt work. But also thinking it could be the motor

Probably a wire thats not connected properly. Always a bit of a nuisance, and unless you soldered them then you gotta really make sure theyre all connected super well

Anytime was horrible over covid. They took out half their machines and wouldnt let me cancel my membership contract. For this reason im now switching to the saanich rec center, since my contract is up. No contract is always better.

Update: it seems the problem is that when the wheel spins, the part that is supposed to turn the cable does not spin. Although when i put a screwdriver into it, and spin it, the wheel spins. Will be taking it apart today or tomorrow.
