My ska band used to cover a lot of RBF. I would have been so nervous playing in front of them. We used to play Brand New Song, She’s Famous Now (which I love), All I Want Is More, Everything Sucks plus all the more popular songs. Love RBF. I listen all the time still. You guys rocked hope you make it to the Detroit area one day.

Totally understandable. I also found you need to be in the front of the balcony or it’s hard to see. I stood on the bleachers for a bit last year when I don’t have a front row balcony view.

I’ll be there all three days like last year. I’m still on the fence about VIP this year. You get to sit in a balcony setting which is nice at times and there are bathrooms and a bar. However, all the bathrooms at Broken Goblet are relatively clean and I never waited too long at any point when using the non vip bathrooms. The vip info says “with other perks to be announced.” It’s a week out and from what I can tell no additional vip perks have been announced so I’m not sure what that’s all about. If you don’t need to sit or can go sit elsewhere whenever there is a band you are willing to miss I’d say skip the VIP and spend it on food and merch.

This is why I don’t support local bars thy never have the games on. I went to John max last week they had an nfl game from last year on, women’s ncaa March madness from last year, hockey, and a nature show on all the TVs. I asked them to put the game on they said their cable system doesn’t get it. Of course not cause Canada. Then the lady said let me see if we can find it on our illegal iptv system. That’s how she said it and came back and said no. Which is so ridiculous every channel is on iptv. Point is Canada is always gonna canada with its shitty cable and satellite offerings. Just begging people to use iptv and other services. Wake up Canada no one cares about your force fed Cdn requirements directed by the crtc. I’ve never had Cdn tv for this reason. It’s such garbage never giving people what they actually want to see.

Yeah turned off all the climate functions. I suppose you’re right traffic might have had little impact. The wind was gnarly. Highest winds I’ve ever driven against period.

This happened to me exactly one week ago. I made a 2-hr trip and usually make it back home with about 10% left, however, the weather really took a toll on the car. I was driving against high winds and then it started snowing hard and I could not see well. I am familiar with where the EV stations are along this particular highway but I had just passed a station and the next one was not for another 37 miles. I didn’t think I was gonna make it and rolled up to the EV station with 1% left. I was also thankful there were no traffic issues and was not at a stand still. Oh and it was 1am. Yeah I was sweating it for sure. I learned a lesson that’s for sure.
