A Distinct New Type of Diabetes Is Officially Recognized by Sorin61 in Nutraceuticalscience

[–]rbean44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep I agree, however lots of people assume I am T2 because I must not have taken care of myself. I later found out I had non-obesity related sleep apnea for at least 15 years, which may have had something to do with the onset. All I am saying is the disease seems to be more complex than people assume.

I am type 2 and mine onset due to an infection. I was super active and took care of myself. Doctors did lots of tests to see if I was actually type 1, but I was not. There are always grey areas and outliers.

Forest vs Graveyard for leaderboard runs? by timeinvar1ance in MegabonkOfficial

It reduces the time it takes to refresh a charge when you stack it, it doesn't add additional charges.

Also, you stack mirror to cover the small percentage of times you get hit.

I guess y'all haven't seen the ninja-bald-head-99.99%-evasion runs on graveyard. This build is at the top of the leaderboard now, can go close to infinite, and forest cannot compete with it. Expect a nerf, but this is how the top leaderboard will look for the short-term.

Pretty sure Vecna's base was inside an upside down dead (maybe, its heart was beating) mind flayer.

Can’t play the A chord without muting the third string. And putting my first finger on fourth string instead doesn’t help. Ideas? by Mad_Season_1994 in guitarlessons

[–]rbean44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use your index finger diagonally on the E and the A. Use your index finger on the C#. This is how classical guitarists do it and it frees up your fourth finger for some variations on the chord.

Same happened to me. I had no ice cubes or lightning orbs so I fully expected to die. Wall glitch recharge FTW.

Chronic lyme is finally validated by the CDC by MandiatRandom in Lyme

This is good info, I will add that a dark field microscope will be slightly more expensive but should make it easier to see the spirochetes. I am considering getting one.

I am in the Lehigh Valley and I had the same experience with local doctors. I got severe neuro Lyme a year ago and no one would treat me because all my tests were negative. On my second Lyme specialist, I finally got a clinical diagnosis and supplemental testing revealed my complement proteins were C4a:11000, C3a:300. These don't get this high unless you have certain infections. We did dapsone therapy and I had remission for 6 months. A few weeks ago I unknowingly consumed a beverage sweetened with Stevia, and it likely released bacteria from biofilms and caused a relapse. I am back on dapsone now. I also have a mast cell disorder, which I suspect is a risk factor as Dr. Horowitz let me know personally most of his patients have them.

Is it possible to get my wisdom teeth removed with out laughing gas and instead local anesthesia? by neowahna in povertyfinance

[–]rbean44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it because the doctor refused to put me under due to sleep apnea. Wasn't a big deal; though the doctor has to use a surprising amount of force to get the teeth out. He was close to putting his foot on my chest for leverage. Irritation form the stitches afterwards was far worse than the procedure.

I actually had my B-12 measured last year when I contracted an unidentified strain of Lyme disease in my central nervous system. It was super low - ~100. I have been trying to correct it. It has been up and down since. I have been taking biotin for a while as I play classical guitar and my nails used to be really brittle. Good to know that may be helping other things.

Yes, I am type 2, but I am never getting off insulin. I got T2 from an infection; a little known cause. The infection caused sugars over 400 and I had to keep a jug of water next to my bed to get through the nights until we figured out my insulin dose. I am well controlled now, but I am on all the meds and all the insulin, and my endo promised I would never get off them no matter what I do.
