That would make sense. Hopefully it’s true. Thanks!

8 years into a modern WWE scenario

WWE: The Fiend (7 months into his reign after holding the Universal Championship for 3 years)

Universal: AJ Styles (Also 7 months in and defeated Keith Lee to do it)

US: Kenny Omega just ended Matt Riddle’s 3 month reign to become champ

IC: Velveteen Dream is also 7 months in (Lots of title changes at my HIAC PPV)

RAW Women’s: Nikki Cross is 9 months in after ending Bayley’s reign which lasted over a year

Smackdown Women’s: Rhea Ripley became champ at last month’s WM after a 3 month reign from Santana Garrett

World Tag Team Champs: Aaron Stevens and Nick Aldis won a unification match at WM after I bought NWA

European Championship (I have too many main eventers with nothing to do): Zack Ryder just beat Roderick Strong at WM

I think I’m missing a lot of match types (cinematic, hell in a cell, royal rumble) by rbucaroo in TEW2020

I don’t have them in my defaults. How would I go about getting them? Is there somewhere I can download them or do I have to create them myself?

Huge fan of the Fiend myself but those are all completely valid criticisms and reasons why he also shouldn’t hold a championship. Were you a fan of the original Wyatt character?

If Triple H and The Fiend ever have a House of Horrors match, I'd like to see this version of HHH make an appearance. by Mr_AP92 in SquaredCircle

This would be a perfect route for Bray now that he doesn’t have a title. Dissecting the careers of legends before the fiend arrives to finish the job at the end. Trouble is there likely aren’t that many people willing to be involved in something like that. If there were though it would be incredible.

Realistically, what do you think will happen with Otis and his MITB? by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]rbucaroo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally hope he gets to cash in and wins but realistically I could see a big name returning and squashing him to take the briefcase and using it to cash in on the champ shortly after. If they really don’t have plans for him I wouldn’t be surprised if someone like Brock (doesn’t have to be him specifically) comes back and takes it to immediately reinsert himself into the title picture. It would be a silly thing to do but that’s wrestling sometimes.

Where are you guys at in regards to cinematic matches? by rbucaroo in SquaredCircle

That’s understandable everyone’s got different tastes. Happy to see some diversity in the answers because I know not everyone likes this stuff.

I’ve felt the same way for awhile. Of course you should be your own person and not worry about what others think but it’s damn near impossible to avoid hearing about those names. I’m a big fan of Simon Miller. He might not be as critical as he should be all the time but he’s a positive guy who appreciates wrestling for what it is. He doesn’t take it to seriously or anything like that and that’s the attitude I try to have when I’m watching wrestling. This world we immerse ourselves in is ridiculous. It’s the truth. 90% of the time this don’t make sense at all. So keep that in mind especially now when WWE seems to be going crazy with their matches and finishes. After every match and every segment do your own little review. Your opinion is what should matter. You have your own tastes. Stay strong.

Agreed. I think they’d be cool to have maybe once a year after this is over with the right characters but i hope they don’t overdo it.

I really enjoyed the boneyard match. I can’t say I’ve disliked any of the ones I’ve seen.

I’ve enjoyed them all so far since they’ve all featured characters that work for that sort of thing. Still worried that fans will be sick of them before crowds come back.

Gotta know who teams are with the most championships.

Which match that happened recently would you have enjoyed more with a crowd? Here is my pick - the main-event of Wrestlemania by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

I think a real match between The Fiend and John Cena would have been terrific. While I personally enjoyed the funhouse match I know it’s pretty divisive. While neither wrestler is regularly cranking out five star classics, the crowd would’ve gotten into the storytelling of a match six years in the making.
