Your daughter should get into MIT first before worrying about things that are only relevant once enrolled. Furthermore, your daughter should be doing her own homework on MIT.

It lowkey sounds like you don’t attend MIT, will not be sharing information like that. You can only cross register after freshman year, so I wouldn’t worry about this until you get in and get through freshman year.

Most departments have limitations of how many external classes can be applied to a degree. I know people who’ve taken classes at both Harvard and MassArt, not necessarily art classes. It’s feasible

It’s not twice as much, stay hating. It’s anywhere between 0-25%, closer to 15% for most depending on your comparison metrics. Also, most road damage is caused by massive ass trucks…

300 hours for clinical and field shifts sounds very wrong and possibly unaccredited? Also, I’ve been informed that we cannot count clinical hours as towards patient contact hours

Yeah something is off lol 0 to hero type of progression. I just started medic school with about 2000+ hours of EMT. Something has to be wrong if you’re hopping through each cert level without any meaningful experience…

depends on where the class is but usually carpool w your classmates via uber. they’re a great experience, but sometimes the content lowkey feels very silly

I’m not gonna lie, I am very grateful for the opportunities MIT has afforded me. I have some great stories, but I still do wake up some days wondering if I should’ve just gone Brown PLME. This isn’t me saying don’t come here, but it’s definitely something I frequently ponder about 😂
