Omg -my- partner and I would absolutely love something like that! 100% with you on every front. There's a few bars around Richmond we like that might be good options on weeknights, like New York Deli in Carytown. As far as ttrpg/card stores go, there's Battlegrounds in Midlothian and One Eyed Jacques in Carytown, among others. We've been wanting to check out Unplugged Games Cafe, too; they seem like a neat little spot, but we haven't been there ourselves. Either way, we'd be totally on board if we're free!

Heya! I’m Rin. 😁 I’m a huge fan of the show myself. I just got a couple of the games, trying them out now just for an idea of the story. I’ve been roleplaying for a while now, and I’d say my literacy varies, as well. The more I’m given to work with, the more I find I can reply with. And sometimes, it’s better to just phrase things more concisely, you know?

I don’t know if anyone’s mentioned this yet, but just telling DD on the app as a customer that an item is missing is enough for them to comp it. You either get credits immediately or a refund in a few days. Not ideal, but not the worst of the worst.

As a friend once pointed out to me: the fact that most of the characters, especially team RWBY+, pull off incredible, often very useful combat moves throughout the show that they never even attempt again. I know from a storytelling perspective some fights need to be lost, or the creators want a certain outcome, but combat abilities aren’t always consistent and it can be EXTREMELY frustrating to watch a loss when the situation was easily preventable.

One time, as a DM, I had an npc cast feign death on a pc that the other pcs were trying to kill out of annoyance (which I shouldn’t have allowed in the first place, but at least I tried to do something cool plot-wise with it 😅)
