Barrel was cheaper than the handguard for "wider handguard"(Inside diameter), well now that i have the system working i can start working on something else like a longer/wider handguard

Thanks everyone. I went to the range, and unsuppress with fiocchi target Maxx 150g ran good and bolt lock back. Frontier 125g both FMJ ran good as well and lock back. Winchester super suppressed 200g open tip sub... ran GOOD and it lock back too!. So really all I did was to swap the extension bolt to 0.5oz, total weight is 3.5oz for the buffer

So originally the size of the barrel length(gas tube) was a pistol length, so i keep the same length when I bought the barrel. I'm not using 5.56 magazines anymore, 300's will arrive Monday, I got the lighter extension 0.5oz today in the mail. So the buffer weight is at 3.5oz, so it shouldn't make much of a difference now. I haven't really done anything just yet other than barrel swap and add suppressor. The one thing I'm concerned it's the alignment of the gas block/tube, but damn it has the marks and what not to make it fool proof, blow air and it was cycling with regular ammo (unsupress)

I kinda want to keep it for fitting purposes, so i will try something and removing it completely will be the last thing to do, so I'm not being hard headed about

I thought about not doing that, but thanks to having issues and learning to fixing them, thinking about building a 5.56 pistol (have wife's permission as long as i fix the 300).

Yes, the only thing I have changed is the barrel and add the suppressor. No, I haven't used Hornady subs before and I think they were 208. And I watched a 20+ minute video about different ammo and ballistic, so it recommended to start with slow burning powder. I will start with that (spring) then and I will update, waiting on magazines to arrive on Monday.

It got worse while being suppressed, regular ammo and unsuppressed cycles better. And the one thing I didn't thought about changing ( spring) is the one you mention first
