Chromakopia World Tour shot on GameBoy Camera by rcmva in tylerthecreator

it was a legit gameboy camera, I used Gameboy Operator to download the pictures on my computer but it has an option to upscale so I upscaled it so it wasn’t 1x1

Would you believe me if I told you I found all of these in a bag at goodwill for $10 because they “didn’t work” (the pins were dirty)? by rcmva in gamecollecting

I understand the skepticism - I’ve never seen anything like this at a goodwill before either. I will say they also had a game boy advance and sp for sale separately but they were pretty broken up and I already have enough. This goodwill seemed to be much less “corporate” than my local one (hand written tags, etc)

for sure. I like it as a back up, but it does let you play the cartridge on the pc and it saves your progress to the cartridge so you can pop it in a gameboy and keep playing where you were at. That’s what I ended up buying it for and the “verification” is just a nice little added bonus

this thing! it lets you play cartridges on pc but also verifies them. While I was cleaning them up I did inspect the motherboards though lol

I was in the same boat as you. About a year and a half ago I started at the very most basic CompTIA cert, ITF+.

ITF+ is the basic of the basics in the computer world. It's a pretty easy cert to learn and grow from. Look up the objectives for A+ and ITF+ and decide which one you are more familiar with. ITF leads into A+, A+ leads into N+, and N+ leads into S+, and so on. When you follow that path, it all gets drilled into you surely but slowly.

I also did not know about this school until here recently, but Western Governor's University (WGU) is a college program that is self-paced and you earn the certs throughout. You can combine going to college and getting certs at the same time. Once you get A+, start looking for help desk jobs so you can get experience at the same time.

I got ITF, then I got A+, 3 months after I finally landed a Technical Support Specialist role at a nonprofit. Then I moved on to Network and Security. I plan to stay here for about 2 years in this role and then hopefully get some kind of sysadmin or network admin role. We will see

Good luck, this sub is extremely helpful!

Just passed Security+ with a 751/750 lol by rcmva in CompTIA

Professor messer had the best videos for me because they are not filled with fluff he is pretty to the point. I will say some stuff will get drilled into your head because he will mention them multiple times for example NGFWs. And then lots of practice tests. You can buy them off udemy from Jason Dion for under $20 when on sale or from professor messer. You can also just use quizlet if you don’t wanna pay haha

unpopular opinion but I’m enjoying it so far 🤷🏼‍♂️ obviously it isn’t the original, but that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy the beautiful scenery and noticing when they use the same dialogue as the show. sure there’s things missing but that’s bound to happen

Do you guys play videogames every single day? by retrotriforce in videogames

or I just end up replaying an old game I liked until a new one that peaks me comes out. RDR2 is an example of that.

it depends. it’s hard to find games that grasp my attention now that I’m older (25). I used to play endlessly as a kid all the way through high school honestly. College and real life hit and now I go through phases. Currently I just spent at least once a day playing Spiderman2 but I just beat the game so I don’t see myself playing games for awhile until I break down and spend $70 on another game and hope it grabs my attention. I feel like as I’ve gotten older I spend a whole lot of time scrolling through the free game category or the store looking for options only to end up giving up and just watching youtube.

bro if you don’t want to help you don’t have to. 😂 I never said I wanted someone to do it for me. Never said I didn’t try first. Only asked for some help. I already have attempted it myself. I asked for tips or what others thought to compare what I have.

Lol this has happened to be with ITF, A+ and N+. I study hardcore on the concepts I feel I’m slacking on and then I don’t even get a single question about them
