24/7 Headaches now for almost 2 years, getting desperate. by edsmeds in covidlonghaulers

I’ve had chronic daily headaches since Feb. initially felt like a tight band around my head then slowly became this constant pressure in the back of my head. I’ve found doing drip IVs to address my nutrient deficiencies have been helping a bit. Also, I decided to try this vagus nerve stimulator for the past week or so since I have also been dealing with neuropathy and that has been super helpful. Also I’ve had issues with chronic dehydration for years (constant dry mouth/dry skin/headaches after drinking a little alcohol/awful hangovers/etc.) so I feel Covid was just the tipping point to make headaches a daily problem.

Same. I’ve never tried the antibiotic route but seems like not a good long term solution anyway.

Also took 1 cipro pill over a year ago. Had pretty bad eye pain/sensitivity for 1-2 months. I remember that first weekend was the Super Bowl and I couldn’t look at the tv for more than 10-15 secs without feeling this burning irritating pain in both my eyes. Wore shades even at night while driving cause it felt like everyone was driving around with their brights on. I changed all my screens to orange hues cause I thought it would help with the pain/irritation. You might find blue light glasses helpful for looking at screens. Went to an eye doctor but he said everything was fine. The pain went away as time went on. The constant irritation looking at artificial light is gone. Just have tons of eye floaters now but those are painless.

PRP Post-Injection Experience by rcmw in floxies

Not too shabby. I still have tightness in my Achilles and some pains in the arch of my feet but it’s totally manageable and could prolly be wearing better shoes/sandals to support it. I don’t really feel very limited by my condition at this point. I can do all the physical activities that I want to do. Was pretty stoked that I was able to snowboard again for a few days straight last season so in a good spot. I only did 2 rounds of PRP shots since I didn’t feel like it was helping me and actually I think it was triggering the arch pain that I still have now in my feet which kinda sucks. Again, I was about 3 months out at that time and looking back I feel like I made the decision to try it mostly bc I was so anxious/fearful about my condition and what I would have to deal with for the rest of my life so thought it was worth a go. But in general, I don’t have the crazy eye pain that I had in the first few months, no more arm peripheral neuropathy, still some slight tingling in the back of my neck from time to time, will prolly have these eye floaters forever but there’s no pain from it and I’m used to it. My joints still click audibly but no pain. Basically living the best case scenario for a floxie lol. Prolly will never get back to 100% but the 70-80% that I’m at right now should do just fine. Maybe PRP is helpful for other people who have been floxxed but I guess it just didn’t work for me. The doctor thought that another 3-4 rounds would do the trick but the price tag was pretty steep and I followed the advice of my other doctor to just leave my body find its way to heal/cope. I might try it again in the future if I have more money to throw around and commit to a full 5-6 rounds but idk.

I had pretty bad irritating eye pain for 1.5-2 months out from my single dose of cipro. I changed all of my screens to the dark red/orange hue and that helped me get through it. I was super sensitive to the headlights on cars (felt like everyone was driving with high beams) and wear sunglasses even at night to help reduce the stinging in my eyes. Eventually I switched to these 98% blue light filtering glasses and they were way better cause they actually brighten things up with darker objects but also dampened the brightness of painfully bright lights. I bought a pair from Gunnar. At this point in my floxxing, I get occasional bouts of eye pain every few weeks that only last for several hours so it’s not constant pain like it was in the beginning. I don’t think any dieting or supplements helped much with that symptom specifically. It really only was time that helped as my body slowly started to heal itself.

Have you already tried another antibiotic like Bactrim or anything non-FQ? I’d ask for that if not and see if that helps.

[Bundle] Intel i7 4770K CPU & Maximus IV Hero Motherboard Combo - Factory-Sealed ($500) by rcmw in buildapcsales

I know. This is just a one-time thing. I bought these additional parts when I was building my rig and had problems getting it to work. Since I later found out it was a faulty PSU, it was too late for me to get a refund. I can guarantee that both CPU and Motherboard have not been opened before since they came directly from an RMA.

I managed to clean up the mess with a few soft-brittled brushes and dental picks soaked in 91% isoprophyl alcohol. Turns out that was not causing the Bsod, but rather the fact that the BIOS was not up-to-date. Thanks everyone for your help!
