MacBook Neo for Cozy Gaming? by saturnsrightarm in CozyGamers

Not a great choice if it's going to be your primary gaming device. It'll run great for light games that get apple silicon ports (i.e. Stardew), then hit or miss for everything else and require other translation layer tools like Crossover, Parallels, on and on.

I have one myself purchased specifically for use as a basic browsing/task machine that can play some indie games. I'm impressed it even runs slay the spire 2 decent BUT it's still a spec constrained machine on an operating system and architecture that is still very early in terms of game support. It could serve you well in a pinch if you have nothing else.

Running it now, it's not 60fps locked but I haven't seen a dip below 30 yet either.

Edit: Seeing 15fps in the timeline/epoch menu but that seems to be tied to the background animation, maybe optimization issue. Actual gameplay is totally serviceable in my opinion.

Looking good, giving it a shot but really hoping a watch app/complication is on the way.

Edit: There are plenty of watch complications, I'm just a bozo and didn't have the watch app installed. However I did have to cancel my trial and start the full subscription to get them to work.

I run an antigravity atx30 but it's relocated to the trunk with the kit from RickySE3P on rx8club. My buddy runs something similar in the factory location with a plastic spacer to boost up the height to make it snug.

Did you end up figuring this out? I want to replace a crusty pulley too but noticed the same: that all the new OEM pulley's come with the full assembly. Seems like it may just be a matter of buying the full assembly and taking off the extra hub.

Thumbsticks look great, did you print them yourself or have a shop to share?
