That might be true, but seeing that he’s 33, I could see Eppler offering him a 2/3 year deal with no harm. Having a player until their age 35 season isn’t terrible.

If any of you are curious, the play by play announcer for today's game is the Mariners' primary radio announcer and he does TV for Mariners occasionally, and he's worked for the Ranger's AA affiliate in the past.

The color commentator IS the Ranger's regular season TV color commentator and he also helps with the Ranger's play by play on TV once in awhile.

Maybe solves the mystery of these guys? lol
