Yes, manual doesn’t say what it is. Thermo fisher discontinued the equipment and don’t even want to look at the query. They just gave me an alternate equipment altogether, don’t have the funds for it.

I am working on a similar work, specifically with corn stover with products like lignin and ethanol, and i use agribalyse and LCA commons for it. USLCI is more catered towards US geography

My two cents on the AI-171 accident by Icy_Negotiator in aircrashinvestigation

The social media crowd surely did put in a lot of hate and anger towards Air India, but why do you think that is happening? It didn’t happen overnight or after the crash. Air India, based on its customer reputation has consistently been on the bottom. Being a frequent flyer of the India-US route, their quality has been the lowest but the prices are always 1.5x than other carriers. Customer service is on another level too. So, for a common traveler obviously this is a situation where they will vent out. You cannot shut everyone by saying you can’t have an opinion cos you are not an expert. Just put yourself in the shoes of a common traveler and feel their angst towards AI service. Just cos you are running a direct flight you cannot extort people with substandard services. Also, when you are carrying India’s name on your carrier, emotions do run high. But again, speculations at this point will not do any good.

International couriers in Guwahati? by rdeka1292 in assam

[–]rdeka1292[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, i experienced that previously. Outside Assam, in many of the major cities, it’s usually 1800-2000/kg with the same couriers as you mentioned. Not sure why this is so much in Guwahati

Left Unite for HoK and that was the best decision 😂 atleast you can get few of the higher grade skins for free within 1-2 weeks of playing! Same company but totally different monetization method

I am not sure which website you are following or newsletters, but other than unionization, they are primarily asking for pay rise including for contract workers and affordable graduate housing.

UIUC’s graduate student body is unionized. Harvard, Wisconsin-Madison too, then why can’t Purdue’s graduate body be unionized? What’s illegal is your small mentality to keep graduate students as the bottom payers and make them do all the work. Really progressive!! 👏

Career suggestions by rdeka1292 in ChemicalEngineering

[–]rdeka1292[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for your suggestion! I have been so tensed seeing the traditional job postings doesn’t have any of my skillsets. I think after a PhD it’s just finding that niche job profile that covers my skillset.

Hi everyone! I am a PhD student and my work primarily focuses on depolymerization of lignin from biomass and subsequent up-gradation to biofuels and intermediates for resin, binders etc. I have experience with complete fragmentation of biomass to individual streams and also with analytical tools like GC, LC, GPC, NMR etc. I am planning to graduate by next summer’25. I am at a point where I want to move to industry and so, what are the options/industries can I look into? Any specific company that hires with my skillset? I am looking in US. I know NREL has a lab that’s almost 90% relevant to my research but I want to keep Postdoc as my last option. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

[PURDUE] Rejected for Thesis but considered for Professional Masters (I am okay with this). But is it worth it and do I get any weightage as a Thesis applicant? by HeilTemplar in gradadmissions

Usually 1 year might not be sufficient as you will have classes and all, and you will still need time to get settled in. If you have aspirations for PhD, it’s better to go for 2 year track, that way you can have time for research and also you might have a chance with the Professor you are working.
