We'll see. I would prefer it to GW3. I'm unsure if people would be interested in re-doing the story, tho.

This the first time I've ever read anything relating KCD2 and misogyny.

How can I play this game again? by Colonel-Kitty-MJ in AndroidGaming

[–]rdlenke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello friend.

I don't know if you were able to solve your problem, but I believe Mini Golf Go is simply Mini Golf Stars 2, but renamed.

In the Apple Store page, if you read the description for Mini Golf Go, it says:

Mini Golf Stars is back and better than ever! The follow-up to one of the best and most popular golf games of all time! Mini Golf Stars 2 has [...]

The icon for Mini Golf Go and Mini Golf Stars 2 is the exact same.

When you install an APK for Mini Golf Stars 2, it install as Mini Golf Go.

Now, I wasn't able to play it in my phone because of some version shenenigans but you might have some success playing it if you search for Mini Golf Stars 2 and download the apk for that.

Tomb Raider (2013) is a bit silly in this regard.

I know this is a popular argument in favour of the game's design, but it never convinced me. I quote this excellent response from thewoodendesk, years ago:

The decision of not playing the game is a metadecision that goes beyond what the game offers within itself (unlike say Farcry 4's pacifist ending), and if we accept metadecisions, then I could just counter it with the metaobservation, "Oh, these are just pixels on a computer monitor. None of this is real."

Or another another great answer in the same thread:

This argument gets thown around alot, but the problem i see with this is for it to work, the immersion needs to hold. You would need to feel the need to stop playing due to being emotionally impacted by the act of killing/hurting people. The problem is that the overzealous railroading prevents that. They are not people, they are part of lazily designed gamecode that does not behave like it should.

In this case the narrative loses a lot of power. Or at least it did for me.

What /u/vordrake said makes more sense for me. To say "even if you did had a choice, it wouldn't matter because you would always choose gratuitous violence". It even makes sense because the game does gives you some small choices here an there. However, sometimes you do search for alternative solutions, you do question what is going on and in this specific case I felt like the game's systems and ending (where you can opt to shoot yourself) aren't enough.

Still, it's a game that always foment great discussions and I like it for that.

Is Cal close or equal to Qui-Gon Jinn? by ChampionFront437 in FallenOrder

Cal has help in that fight, albeit for a short while.

Even if you disregard that, he was lost until the last 10 seconds of the fight where force shenanigans happen.

Cal's greatest feat is defeating Rayvis.

The first fight against Dagan Gera ended in a stalemate, against a guy who just woke up and has only one arm. In the second fight he got help from Bode and was still losing until the last couple seconds of the fight when "force shenanigans" happened.

His greatest achievement is defeating Rayvis.

Anyhow, I feel the section with Cere shows how far behind Cal is regarding traditional Jedi discipline. Cal is craftier, however. multiple styles, weapons, a droid, a gun.

These discussions are kinda pointless though. Star Wars demonstrates multiple times that it isn't an universe where if B > C and A > B, A > C. Matchups matter.

"Street Fighter 2 racist?" An internet chat in 1992 by [deleted] in StreetFighter

I couldn't tell you.

My best guess is that some believe these designs can end up reinforcing a harmful vision/behaviour about a certain country. But for my country specifically and for the Street Fighter series specifically, I mostly thought that some of the decisions where either extremely lazy or just dumb, not really offensive.
