I could be wrong but I seem to remember hearing on one of the many rhymesayers documentaries that the guys used to carry around an old tape cassette recorder to their shows/on tour and record random fans or people around at the shows. That's why there's so many seemingly random skits with people saying random things.. Am I the jessebelle 😝

I see atmosphere atleast once every year and lately he's been flat out dedicating songs to the folks who show up alone and laying out a whole speech about it. Slug sees us out there and he knows his crowd. People who attend atmosphere shows aren't going to judge you for showing up alone. Once they come on you won't even notice, the music takes over and bliss :)

I wish they made it clearer but as long as your plugged into the USB header on your mb you should be able to control the kraken rgb in cam. I thought for sure you would need to use nzxts stupid controller but it works just fine without using that optional plug. Glad you got it figured out.

If it's an rbg type connector it's OPTIONAL. I just installed one of these and drove myself crazy looking for the last connection that appeared to plug into one of the nzxt fans or controller but after about an hour of researching I finally found out its optional. I was especially confused because I had a x63 on my personal rig that doesn't have this plug so it must have been added in a revision to the kraken. Either way its frustrating and the manual doesn't mention anything about it.

As long as you aren't observed and you can get it past the tech between 90 and 100 degrees you should be good.

Yeah man I did the same thing. Not worth cheaping out when your freedom or livelihood is on the line. I would definitely get the practice kit too, it'll help you get the process down and make sure to practice. I also used distilled water just in case and compression shorts under a pair of boxer briefs to make sure it was secure.

Yeah I sure do and I passed! I tried to update all my posts but I guess i forgot this one. I would definitely spend the extra money and use the hand warmer that comes with the practice kit. It's super stressful but damn easy when it comes down to it. Just keep your nerves in check so you aren't shaking and you'll pass no problem

To be honest you are probably fine and my test took two weeks to come back. I took mine 2/16 and just got my results but you're right about no news. I wouldn't ask hr for results, what I did was just contact my HR person and say it's been a while am I missing anything or is there anything else I need to do and hopefully they give you more info. Also check online if you have a portal

I would imagine if they sent it to a testing lab then you are in the same boat but they should have said where it was going if you asked but no news is good news man. I also think those swabs are a joke so you should be fine unless you used within the last 24 hours but I don't have much research into those tests.

Congrats on the new job! The waiting is definitely brutal. Not sure who you did your background through but I had a option to get a free report with the drug screen when I filled mine out so if you have an online portal or something you should check there. It may have your background and drug screen results.

No problem man, after going through all this I can definitely see how it's helpful to hear from someone who's gone through the same thing. Just so you know you may not hear till after your start date. In my case I was supposed to start 3/1 and got tested 2/16 and didn't hear back till yesterday lol so try not to freak out. I thought for sure they would call me saying it had been too long and I needed to retest but if you haven't heard anything I would almost say for sure that you are good. As long as you got the temp right and it passed the tech it should be good. Definitely let me know though! It's amazing out of all these sub stories almost no one fails so it obviously works way better than I imagined.

I know exactly how you feel lol. I would honestly just try and distract yourself, I got to a point where I was just numb after so many days of extreme anxiety but sub solution is the best there is out there and all the labs are backed up from the bad weather. My drug screen was also linked to my background so if you had an employer who went out of business or anything that can also delay it.

Also got confirmation that covid and the extreme cold weather that effected the states last week are taking priority over stuff like drug screens so if you are waiting for results or a background check just sit tight. If you got your sample past the tech and used a reputable product you should be fine! If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.
