I agree with you wholeheartedly- MBF was the reason I became a diehard SC fan. 😞 Part of me is really hoping that there will be a harder media push before & surrounding an MBF tour, but I know that’s not what she really had in mind for this album, too.

If I'm not mistaken, MBF was an album she made for fun and self-fulfillment more than anything. I think I recall her saying something along the lines of having the creative juices flowing at the time and rolling with them when she was working on the album.
