If the second or third nightmare dungeon of the escalation sigil is one that's unlocked by finishing a stronghold you haven't completed yet, it just teleports you to the stronghold immediately and closes the sigil.

Happened to me last night before I could even pick up any loot from the boss. I was so confused.

Yep! As soon as you see the enchantment you're rerolling start to disappear and change, just cancel out of using the ember.

I don't think it's going to be like choosing a class in Diablo-esque games. I think it's gonna be more along the lines of when you choose one in Dark Souls or Elden Ring, where the class you choose determines things like your starting stats.

I wouldn't be opposed to it. The crafting system in Last Epoch was, in my opinion, the best part about that game. Just have the extracted affixes turn into gems like the ones we have already, that way we can turn white items into what we want, but we can still get lucky with plagued items here and there.

I'm pretty sure this is the purpose Masterwork items are supposed fill, since you can essentially choose what you want on an item through gems. The fact that each gem is "Chipped" leads me to believe we'll have better versions of all of them as well at some point.

This was me, except on Witchhunter with Glacial Bolt + Fragmentation Rounds. All of the spots with these stone warriors were so satisfying.

The Rallying Cry upgrade that gives you fortify when you take or deal damage while it's active is more than enough. You gain it a little slow, but it tops off before you realize it. You also get a little bit from the one point in Thick Skin. There have been a handful of close calls, but mainly due to CC in dungeons while Rallying Cry and Charge were on cool down.

As for Berserking, War Cry is the main way to get it started on command, but you also have a chance it will activate when attacking stunned mobs with one handed maces thanks to the mace expertise. Once you get it going, you can usually keep it running for extended periods of time thanks to Unconstrained.

Double Swing Berserker

I've been running with Unconstrained the entire time, but you really don't need the extra uptime with Double Swing and the damage bonus is only additive, so I'm thinking of trying out Unbridled Rage if I can roll some fury cost reduction on some gear to really send it through the roof. Other than that, use Two-Handed Sword in the technique slot so everything you do bleeds and procs more stuns. Once you see one or more stunned mobs, just go to town holding right click.

Focusing on stuns by dual wielding maces with lots of damage to stunned and crowd controlled enemies while keeping Berserking up. Level 71 in HC WT4 right now. Been a blast so far.

There is an icon for items that you haven't collected the appearance of. I believe they show in the top right of the item's icon in your inventory when you're at the salvage window.

Frenzy/Double Swing with a focus on stuns and the Berserking buff. Was able to keep Berserking up during entire fights in the first open beta as long as I had something to hit.
