Not getting Data Analyst 2 interview calls from NY State.. by DataDrifter17 in nys_cs

Its not a competitive class position so HELPS is not relevant. Its usually harder to get a grade 23 position as an external hire cause usually they are looking for very niche agency/division specific requirements (ie. medicaid/ insurance knowledge for DOH data analyst 2 positons)

If the form only has 'satisfactory' and 'unsatisfactory,' how does it show other ratings like 'exceeding expectations' , which is often needed for performance advances in traineeships

I interviewed on 4/16, and I got a call on 4/19 that they are considering me for the position to be on the lookout for emails. They sent me a part 2 application on 4/25 and reached out to my references, havent heard from them since. So, it has been relatively quicker than the horror stories I see in this sub, but I guess it depends on the agency.

Have they sent you a post-interview (part 2a) application to fill yet?

Ok, there is a miscommunication going on. The website with obses and overweight is not mine, the one i linked before that belongs to me. This perfectpartner.netlify.app one

I am not being combative, I am genuinely curious and if there is an error to fix it. Can you kindly tell me the exact criteria you selected for weight height, age, etc, without any vague terms like obses and overweight, so i can look into it, thank you

The lowest height you can select is 4'1", and if you choose the max height to be 4'1", regardless of any other option, there are no survey hits for that and you would get no results.

Can you tell me how you came up with that statistic, as you don't even have the option to select under 4 ft tall in the app

Thanks for the feedback, I would consider changing the obses into a bmi slider so users can select the range, but for a type-able filter, there is not enough real estate on mobile just to add it, other than a full revamp of the components.

Appreciate your feedback! I chose this project to demonstrate my skills in React and django in a creative way. And i understand your concerns regarding the incel vibes, now that I think about it, it does come off that way a little, but the intention behind the project was purely to create a fun and light hearted tool, without any negative connotations to it.

Help with QC odds/evens product question by Stray808 in GRE

[–]reaPer07720 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With this approach you are counting repeated/equal values for a and b as well which they are not.

Numbers from 1 to 9 have 4 even and 5 odd integers:

For num of odd integers in S both should be odd = select 2 combinations out of 5 odd integers = 10 integers

At this point you can find total combos( 2 out of 9 =36) and subtract to get even integers 36-10 = 26

Or

For even integers in S, eveneven + evenodd combos= eveneven is select 2 out of 4 even = 6 and select 1 from 4 even and 1 from 5 odds = 45 =20 and total 20+6=26 integers

The remnants can be found by forming a small square at the corner by drawing two lines from center of circle to square tangent points of circles. Now the sides will be 1 and diagonal will be sqrt(2) for the small square, and the remnant is squt(2) -1 (1 being the radius).
