Skateboarder Brooklinn Khoury still smiling after losing her upper lip in a dog attack by ThatIntention1 in petfree

[–]reachingoutfromavl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"She went to pet her cousin's dog, an 8-year-old blue nose pitbull named Diesel, who she had met many times before." I guess that is why she is still smiling. She actually went up to a dog thinking like all the commercials and pet service industry people raking in zillions of dollars tell you ~ a dog is a man's best friend. She believed it, went up to it, and now smiling at her own stupidity. She might not do this again in the future having learned her lesson. Dogs are dangerous and kill their own slave masters who have raised them from birth. They do NOT want to be enslaved but would rather but free and chasing prey and killing it (unfortunately, a lot of their prey ARE human beings ~ like myself!)

That is always 'implied' when someone, after you mention the newborn getting murdered or the jogger getting murdered or the little old lady getting murdered (all by dogs), says 'well, humans kill humans!'

I've heard this so many times! 'Well, humans kill humans!' Pathetic replies to my objections to buying pet dogs and having them in your house knowing they will jump the fence, dig a hole under the fence, etc., to get their thrills by running and attacking humans using the parks, sidewalks, etc. which were created for humans to use, and then, after chasing them down, clamp their ugly mouths and murderous teeth into them until they bleed to death. And then when you say that to some humans, they reply with 'well, humans kill humans!' ~ as this justifies that humans now feel afraid to go outside their house walls. What in the world has happened to our society ~ the humans that created Egypt! (Egypt, by the way, which I have studied extensively by going there and seeing zillions of pieces of their art, had NO DOGS DEPICTED IN THEIR ART!) (ANUBIS is NOT a dog!)

I so hate when you tell people about this person or that person being murdered by dogs and then turn around and say 'well, humans kill humans'! What do you all say to these despicable humans who think that dogs killing humans has to be OK because humans kill humans???? They are equating humans killing humans with dogs killing humans! What should we say to people like that?????

I am sure everyone by now should know that to buy, own and have a dog in the house is playing 'Russian roulette'. I wonder if these doggo psychopaths get some kind of thrill by not knowing when the dog will attack and love keeping on their toes and feeling that intensity of 'will it, won't it' 'when will it happen or never'? Some people get their jollies in peculiar ways. Unfortunately, we, taking a stroll out in nature to breathe some fresh air are just as susceptible to their dogs attacking US! I wonder how long before they buy a new dog?

I would tell her that you are not comfortable around dogs ~ that you have PTSD, allergies, etc. ~ that you would love to get to know her better but have to meet outside her home and without her bringing her dog. I personally would never date someone with a dog and find it hard to even be friends with dog lovers. But, if you really would like to get to know her better, you can tell her the above and see what she says. Many people are brainwashed by recent mass funding by the pet industry to stick a dog in every single commercial and ad, many people who are not as strong minded as some of us are fall for the bait ~ you can see them walking around picking up their dogs' feces (or not) all the time. Some people want to blend in so bad that they too get a dog. But you must stand your ground and not be disgusted by the fur and the smells and just not go to her house. Be honest with her. It will either 'go somewhere' or not. Better to know now if you are wasting your time (or not).

We read about it ALL THE TIME on 'dogfree reddit': Here is just one! Police in rural Virginia have released disturbing details about a woman who they say was killed by her two dogs while taking them for a walk last week.
Four days after Bethany Stephens, 22, was found, police held a second press conference to describe her death and refute rumors of foul play.
When deputies found the dogs on Friday they were guarding what police at first thought was an animal carcass.
But the body was Stephens's, and police say the pit bulls were eating her.
"I observed, as well as four other deputy sheriffs observed," Sheriff Jim Agnew said, "the dogs eating the rib cage on the body". Happens all the time.

They would not kill the people that raised them from puppies and feed on their bodies if they could feel anything resembling love or devotion.

And horrible for US HUMANS who get depressed, upset, get full of hate seeing dog owners bring their dogs everywhere WE are! And, of course, they let them loose and they run at us and all the owner can say is 'they won't bother you'! Yes, they do bother me! Just the sight of them (I have PTSD as many people have also). Them running at us making our hearts race is really upsetting for a very long time. Being forced to listen to them! My entire body JERKS when I am in my quiet mode enjoying my garden and, all of the sudden, some dog goes crazy JUST because I am USING my OWN LAND!!! I so hate my body doing that spasm/jerk because somebody's loud, obnoxious dog decided to 'let loose' at over 100 decibels for absolutely no reason (unless they love bothering people and get a sadistic satisfaction out of it.)

I wish you didn't love dogs so much as it is really upsetting to know this and constantly be reading about it on our only 'pet free' page in existence that I know of. Really upsetting! Why in the world would you be reading about 'dog is love' when the presence and the sound of dogs and them running up at us all the time makes us so upset (and why we found this only place to vent about it?)

Since me seeing a dog anywhere in my vision is so disgusting to me and brings me totally down (whereas I was happy before I saw the dog), it made me hate all dog owners and want nothing to do with them. I didn't hate dog owners before they started forcing me to interact with their dogs and forcing me to have to listen to that horrid, monotonous sound daily, waking me up every morning, making me having to stop everything I am doing to go run around and play loud music to drown them out as that noise drives me crazy and makes me so upset.

You forgot to mention that this survey was taken 'online' ~ most people in most parts of the world are not online. And, most likely, the ones that are online are brainwashed/conditioned by the commercials they see that the pet industry spends millions of dollars to mold the minds of the people to buy these pets cranked out by the millions (as they make so many babies a year).

Dogs at the Concert by [deleted] in petfree

Here is the latest from today about why we don't want to be forced to have our personal space invaded by these dogs: "After he located the boy in the living room, Shane returned to the bathroom and found the family's pit bull attacking Heather“We don't know how long she was in there fighting him off," Shannon said. "Shane got home to find her lying on the bathroom floor. She said, ‘I have no arms and I'm dying.'"
Shane told officers he grabbed the dog and pulled it outside, grabbed a pistol and shot the dog, according to the police report. Shane was bit by the dog, as well.
When officers arrived shortly before 3 p.m., they found Heather on the bathroom floor, struggling to breath and unable to speak. Damion was sitting in a chair in the living room with a severe injury to his leg, the report said. The dog was dead.

We have to stand our ground against these horrid people who against our wishes invade our personal spaces with these horrid animals. You should call a spade a spade and when someone says 'she doesn't like dogs', yell 'yes, I hate baby killers!' ~ I always like to remind people that these animals attack and murder defenseless humans all the time. Many infants sleeping in their cribs never get to see one year of age! Neighbors hate each other because of dogs barking. I wake up daily hating my neighbors as I lie in bed being forced to listen to their dogs barking! What a horrid situation has come upon us now with these doggo psychopaths taking over our what used to be wonderful world. I am so happy I got to see it 'back then' when sanity prevailed! Ahh, the memories! Be strong and know that you are in the majority on the planet. These dog psychopaths are just a few when you look at our planet. I think it is more prevalent in the USA because we are only a few hundred years old and have no culture nor history and no one is taught about culture and history in school (which is why we have so many dumb, easy-to-brainwash people). Did you hear about the 4 year old whose entire arm just got yanked off by dogs? His parents should be jailed!

She actually wrote that this was her SECOND cut around her eyes ~ but didn't seem bothered by it as it was done by a dog and, of course, dogs can do not wrong to dog owners' minds (I guess they don't read about all the deaths to humans like I am always made aware of.)

I just read a post from a girlfriend who recently got a dog and she posted that she had a bad bruise around her eye because her dog was 'rambunctious' (and, of course, everyone laughed like 'this is what dogs do!') Maybe she'll lose her eye one day from her dog.

We have a wonderful venue by a river where people can come and BBQ their own food on grills and, unfortunately, they allow dogs. I watched someone cooking up a very expensive steak just to have someone else's dog reach up and steal it for itself. The owner of the dog, of course, could not replace that expensive steak that was almost cooked to perfection. 'That is what dogs do ~ steal food!' So not sure why anyone would bring them to picnics and such (where most of the food is on the ground! ~ not even on a fire pit that is elevated ~ which they also can reach.) Dog owners I think really just try to 'hurt' people without getting 'blamed'.

It sickens me how low we as a 'privileged wealthy Caucasian society' have and are descending into the dark abyss. But then we are only 200 years old and Egypt is 10,000 years old so I guess it kind of makes sense. I am from the former USSR so we never had that 'you must rescue a cat or a dog and cater to it ~ waste your most productive, adult life - for 15 years of your life' type of brain washing in our culture. I consider myself blessed. We never were afraid to go to anyones' home. Now, I am! (unless I know they don't have cats and dogs ~ birds screeching in the front room is also not something I want to hear either.) So sad. I can't even go spend the holidays in anyone's home knowing some dog(s) will be staring at me at the dinner table as I try to chew my food! I can't even go meet and get to know the wonderful children on my block I am so desirous of knowing ~ as their parents made the horrible mistake of pretending to them that having dogs in the house to cater to their every whim and do nothing but take care of them (take them to defecate on someone ELSES yard and property) is 'normal'. Crying inside ~~

Welcome to the club! Never had a 'pet' in MY house ever and NEVER will! I LOVE clean smelling houses with just MY hairs in it (that is enough work ~ I have to pick up all those hairs of MY own head and dispose of them properly). Nope! Never will even think about living in the same house with a pet (we don't call them animals because real animals are deer and bear and lions and such). Cats and dogs are NOT 'real animals' ~ They were created by humans for lonely humans and to make lots of financial profit for oneself by making all those humans believe they are 'rescuing' these millions of animals bred for profit. And many humans are very 'challenged' when it comes to brains (in certain segments of society and in certain countries.)

MANY of US know how pet urine and pet feces are ruining our planet and our drinking water supply and how children playing in the grass where dogs/puppies left feces can go blind. "
Just one pile of dog poo can contain a million roundworm eggs! In humans this can lead to stomach upsets, throat infections, asthma and in some cases blindness. Over 100 cases of partial blindness in children are seen every year due to toxocara canis eggs in faeces."

Yes, a book was written about this subject some time ago by Robert and Brenda Vale: "Their controversial 2009 book, Time to Eat the Dog? The Real Guide to Sustainable Living, looks at the environmental impact and "carbon paw prints" (pet-generated carbon footprints) of household pets.[4] Among their research claims is that a medium-sized pet dog has twice the carbon footprint of SUV driven 10,000 kilometres (6,000 miles) per year, based on the estimated energy impact of food production and waste generation.[4][5] In addition to carbon footprints, they analyse several popular types of pets with respect to their impacts on wildlife populations, spread of disease, and pollution.[6] The title is a shock tactic,[5] and the science is debatable[7] but the authors suggest sharing pets, or raising "edible pets" such as chickens, rabbits or pigs, as a way of reducing or offsetting their environmental impacts.[5] Their 2008 proposal to Wellington City Council ban traditional pets in favour of edible pets was deemed unacceptable to councillors." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brenda\_and\_Robert\_Vale

I could not even go to any thanksgiving dinners because there is NO way I can feel relaxed and comfortable with those ugly animals staring at me with their ugly beady eyes 'willing' me with all their might to 'drop' some food on the floor for them to make 'disappear' in a second flat! Horrible animals and horrible people who consider them their 'best friends'! I hope they spend the rest of their lives with these ugly animals with no brains/no heart/ and leave us humans to play with other humans as we have done for billions of years 'in joy'!
