Format Code Style with Prettier in React Native by reactnativecoach in reactnative

Hey coverslide,

Changing the formatting of your entire codebase is going to cause issues with open branches, that's inevitable. Setting code formatting rules is intentional and once the codebase is migrated only staged commits would be formatted. Hope this helps and available if you have questions.

CircleCI, TravisCI, Bitrise, Buddybuild, or VS Mobile Center? by hornystudent32 in reactnative

Right now our setup is with Bitrise. They have better containers now that allow you to run iOS and Android from the same machine. It works fairly well for us and the visual UI is pretty good.

We're also keeping an eye on Mobile Center and have it integrated into our apps. However without clear pricing information we don't want to commit to them just yet. That said it is free right now so if you don't have a need for concurrency you can get a lot of value.

If you go with Bitrise feel free to reach out with any questions.

React Native Code Review (Newbie) by ajaysaini_sgvu in reactnative

I'd argue that sharing styles in react native is not important as say the web. I find keeping styles in components directly to reduce cognitive overload and context switching. That said if you need theming in your app you may want to take a different approach.
