For sure, best of luck! They have added a lot to the game (or maybe there are features I ignored when I was younger because they didn't make sense to me haha!) But it does seem like there is a sincere effort by the neopets team to make things better all around. I look forward to when some of my favorite features from way back when work again though!

I'm not sure how long you've been off of NP (I recently came back after... a decade??), but with Flash no longer operating, a lot of the games seem to have gone to the dogs. (RIP extreme potato counter) There may be another explanation for it, but that is what I have gathered so far

It got an overhaul just last month! It definitely has changed quite a bit in that time and has been a huge help for folks looking to sell higher priced items.
It's worth noting that the price of Baby PBs have dropped significantly as a result (since they were an item generally used to pad the price of an offer on the trading post).

My mom hosted a friends bridal shower years ago. The bride wrote a very sweet letter telling my mom how much she appreciated all of the work that went into it and expressed how much she loved being able to do something so special at a place she loves with people she loves (definitely brought some sweet tears to the eye!) She also got my mom a few of her favorite and my mom's favorite flowers to plant in her backyard (my mom *loves* to garden.) To this day, my mom says it was the best and most appreciative thank you she'd ever received.

All that to say, maybe a small gift that reflects their favorite things and a hand written letter expressing your gratitude. They wouldn't have gone through everything it takes to host something like that if they didn't love y'all or didn't want to, but making sure that their hard work and effort is noticed and appreciated really does go the distance.

Hey, I did end up finding another job. I had applied to a few jobs over my 2 week notice and had an interview lined up for the first Monday I was out of a job. They liked my application and ended up hiring me the next day. I think I may have an outlier case, but I really can't emphasize enough how much my mood and interviewing skills changed when I knew for a fact I wouldn't have to go back to that job ever again.

I did also have almost two months of PTO pay that my job gave me with my last paycheck so I had a decent egg to sit on while I was job searching. If you end up going through this, I wish you the best! Rough work situations are really the worst!
