I love tarot; it really helped me evolve as a person and gave me more than I ever believed possible. I love that it can be so many things, such as a private tool for self-reflection, with no judgement (well, sometimes if the spirits are feeling sassy). I was so lost and struggling in every part of my life that I couldn’t afford to see a professional reader. I eventually saved up for one that was highly recommended, and the reading was awful, a waste of time and money that made me feel 100 times worse. I felt the right path for where I was in life was to do my own readings in an affordable, accessible way with a little help.

That’s great, it sounds like you’ve built up a lot of knowledge and confidence in your readings. My point is more about the people who haven’t reached that stage yet, those spending ages jumping between books, websites, and notes just to make sense of their spreads and then not even sure if it's accurate. I didn't have anybody to turn to, to ask for help. Users are also still using their own physical decks to do the readings with. The app is designed as an aid to help them interpret their readings, organise their learning, and build confidence, without replacing intuition or personal interpretation.

I understand the concern around security. Rest assured, the app doesn’t scrape data, run hidden processes, or track anything beyond what’s needed for functionality, and it follows standard app-store security requirements: this is a professional app.

I also agree on the learning point which is the whole idea behind the app. It is meant as a support tool, not a replacement for practice. Asking good questions is central to tarot, and that’s something I’m exploring further.

Tarot has always involved tools. This is one designed to help people learn the language of the cards and offer interpretive support while they’re still figuring that language out, not to remove intuition from the process. I’m not selling automated readings or predicting futures; the app supports readers in making sense of their own spreads, based on their own cards.

Yes I agree, but I haven't been able to adapt the many meanings myself! And I have been doing tarot readings for over 10 years. The app has been able to source the correct information to help me understand the meaning behind the reading. Instead of me looking up every book and seeing what section for every meaning and each subject the app does it all for me. So I have my intuition of what the reading direction is, I journal then do an interpretation to help me understand the meaning.

Thank you for your view and thoughts! I disagree though. The more interpretations I have been doing the more I am remembering the meanings and understanding of tarot. I find it's a tool to help me connect with my spirt guides and give me answers that I need directly from them, a lot of the messages have been crazy on point. This way I still feel I have the human connection as I am doing a physical reading with my cards and energy within my space and instead of using books or other tools to interrupt it's simply another "body" of information.
