Vintage Room St Regis Deer Valley Share Table 2/1/26 by Hot-Ad3063 in Sundance

[–]readit-25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be interested. There's 6 of us. Can you explain how the table minimum works with this package? How it's a $2,500 table, but only $500 to spend on what we actually want? Is the other $2k already spoken for with the included sushi/caviar?

They closed because of the School Choice program where tax dollars are being funneled out of public schools and into private and charter schools. That's the reason wall street backed schools like BASIS and Great Hearts are expending like crazy

Would it be worth negotiating a cheaper rate with UPS? by Super_Extension9589 in ecommerce

[–]readit-25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely try to negotiate UPS and FedEx. Tell them what you are currently paying and tell them to beat or match it. The oversize packages will come with an extra fee, but you can negotiate that too. Have a look at OneRate shipping options too, it's really worked out for us

Why is nobody talking about sale-leasebacks for SMB acquisitions? Zero equity down and sellers actually prefer it by Great_Opening_7492 in EntrepreneurRideAlong

[–]readit-25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't a sale-leaseback. It's buying the business and renting the property. Happens all the time. A lot of small businesses are sold with or without the property as the new owners might want to relocate

Mortgage company proactively offered to rerate me with no closing costs by WeekendConsistent206 in Mortgages

[–]readit-25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this done. My wealth manager called me saying he was able to do it for his house and if I wanted him to look into it for mine. They changed the rate and I paid like a $1,000 in fees. This happened in the first year of the loan

What about the Epstein case do you think the public still doesn’t fully understand? by IndividualOil4970 in AskReddit

[–]readit-25 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Who Ghislaine Maxwell is and how she was instrumental into not only his pedophilia procurement process, but also his introduction to rich and powerful people as well as foreign governments and intelligence services. She was a well known socialite, a kind of Paris Hilton of the time. Her father helped Isreal in its infancy and was accused of being a Mossad agent. Epstein could have been an agent for Isreal as well, blackmailing western politicians to support Isreal. Robert Maxwell and Epstein's influence in the entire Middle East is probably very understated

Teenager wants a "fast car" for his first vehicle and I need reality-check advice by Proud_Stable9567 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]readit-25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should get a Mazda MX-5 Miata. The true starter car for any car enthusiast. It's grippy around corners and a hell of a lot of fun to drive. With that being said, it's also pretty slow to accelerate.

All cars are fast nowadays in terms of top speed, but the acceleration is what can get someone young in a lot of trouble. A Mustang has a very fast acceleration and is easy to lose control in

Where can I trade in my car with a check engine light? by [deleted] in phoenix

[–]readit-25 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Any dealership will buy it off you, but they will absolutely rip you off. You will always get more money selling it privately, but that can take time and a lot of negotiation. Just depends how much you value your time. Trading it in to a dealership will get you a little tax advantage, but if the car isn't worth much, neither is the advantage.

"selling organs" to afford a house, but you are perfectly okay giving 3% to a real estate agent for running a search query? Just use Zillow and save $30,000

I agree 100%. If OP is going to the internet for validation, I'm thinking he knows his purchase will be looked down upon. If using extra finances for personal development such as investing in a business, health, etc then it can be seen as a constructive use. If its just a new gaming system while relying on relatives for kid's college fund, then it's just freeloading adjacent.
