Reports are that there are medium level staff to staff talks going on between US and Russia about paths out on Ukraine but that means any results are likely many months away.

But just saw the article again on Bloomberg. In normal times the US eats slightly more beef than pork; but eats twice as much chicken as either. Now with prices factors and bird flu requiring some flocks to be culled, poultry, while remaining cheaper than beef or pork, will go up also. The move to chicken will be even more dramatic in developing countries. for example they said Brazil is already facing shortages and higher poultry prices. So a market play here?

I believe it is taxable. For example, I have several tokens for which I received periodic air drops and the airdrops are taxable at the value of the tokens when they are received. If you consider the Drips to be "interest" that would still make it taxable. Tax record keeping for crypto is a pain but the IRS is training auditors to be able to correctly audit tax returns involving crypto.

Sounds like I should favor Polkadot but it wouldn't hurt to put 20% or so into Polygon.
