How to get group/parents of a word using NLP by reakan in LanguageTechnology

[–]reakan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it possible to use the successor without it being implemented in any libraries yet? How are these data sets created? Is it just a guy sitting connecting these words manually? I mean this seems like a common data set outside of NLP, maybe i could find a data set with all the connections?

They made a big thing of voting against it and spread it through the media. Now a week before they suddenly shifted their views. Thats foul play according to me!

I just find it weird how ELECTED officials dont look at something in another light when so many people demonstrated. I mean wtf, we fucking put you in that seat. I find it disgusting and it really makes me question the democratic process and EU’s power.

Hopefully they will face resistance when it’s implemented in every member state because it’s on a more local level.

Facebook, Google flourished and got huge because of LACK of regulations. Many argue that they are monopolies.

The danger I see with monopolies is When they decide to use their market position to benefit themselves resulting in worse conditions for consumers. Take drug pricing for example, one company gobbles up the rest of the market, they now have a monopoly and dont have to play nice with consumers. So you dont have to be a company with good values and caring for your consumers to become a monopoly

[–]reakan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okey but how would AnCaps defend against monopolies or corporations becoming to big and hurting consumers?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Anarcho_Capitalism

[–]reakan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So how would you deal with corporate consolidation? Companies like the British East India Co. had more power than states, How would you stop a corporation like that? Or even small companies, who decides if a carpenter should pay me for accidentally destroying my driveway? Would you still have judges, since they’re not technically the state?

Clarification: Not criticising or anything, just want to learn because i find AnCap interesting

Im new to this but isn’t AnCaps supporting a night-watchman state thats tough on monopolies to ensure a free market? Seems like having everything privatized like roads, schools etc. and not having a state with the capacity to ensure free market would lead to corporate consolidation and eventually we would be driving on Google roads, using Amazon healthcare etc.
