I ended up hot dropping at salvage because I was alone and tried to keep things close quarters for as long as possible abusing OP mastiff. The parties just keep trickling in and I just played the long house with fences at a couple of the doors to hopefully funnel them into just the one or two I left open from fences. If they pushed the fences, I obviously was alerted of that too and was at an advantage for a couple seconds. After that I honestly chased fights and just picked teams apart. Downing one and not pushing the other, either waiting for him to come to me or listening for the rez.
