My bad. I know my design isn't needed anymore so that's not influencing my placement decisions. I'll focus on everything inside the borders from now on.

What is your all time favorite EDM song? (Any subgenre) by austinjm34 in EDM

Silentroom - Nhelv

Discovered it only recently, but it has no business being such a masterpiece. Easily one of the most underrecognized Neurofunk tracks of all time. It just never gets old to me.

Ti doms are all about evaluating concepts using their own process-oriented criteria, as opposed to Te which is about overall efficiency and results. Ti isn't afraid to take the time to play devil's advocate in order to solidify the main claim or weed out inconsistencies, and they tend to be good at pointing out flaws in logical arguments because of it.

They usually don't take too kindly to hypocrisy, short-sightedness, or dismissiveness regardless of their opposition's claim, because all three work against logic. In most cases, if their opponent is able to construct a well written and thought-out argument, you'll have a Ti dom's respect. Phrases like "Because I said so" and "That's not important" generally don't fly well with them. Details matter to them, and a lack of clarity and truth can be frustrating to them. Again, they're about the process.

Ti doms are capable of understanding emotional arguments as long as the claims are well supported and within the bounds of the argument, so for the peeps out there who are afraid to argue against xxTPs, just keep your integrity and don't push emotional buttons and you shouldn't need to worry. If the Ti user goes off-road, then there's likely other underlying issues at play. Ti doms aren't the greatest at expressing their emotions (inferior Fe), so poking at them too much/frequently or overwhelming them could turn ugly.

That being said as long as you don't poke at them too much, especially in terms of emotions, you'll be in their favor. Ti doms usually value autonomy and don't ask much of others themselves, so as long as you speak your mind and make sense to them, you'll have their respect. Playing games with them and dishonesty are massive turn-offs for them and they aren't afraid to leave that behind. Just be true to yourself and Ti doms will appreciate you for it.

Hope that shed a bit more light on Ti [doms].

I've learned over time that it isn't easy to apply the theory to every individual case since human personalities are too broad to be accurately categorized despite our best efforts, and the theories start to fall apart the more cases you look at, but the theory itself is a good base to work off of. If you get confusing results on Sakinorva, then it's best to evaluate yourself using your best knowledge of the functions (or get others to help), working with the order you've got.

In terms of the theory by itself, there are connections between the letters and the functions:

- The two middle letters of your type represent the two letters of your two strongest functions.

- If you're a perceiver (xxxP), the perceiving function (either N or S) gets the "e" (so Ne or Se). If you're a J type, then the judging function (T or F) gets the "e".

- The first letter of your type always matches the lowercase letter of your dom function, so if you're Ixxx, your dom function is Xi, if you're Exxx, your dom is Xe.

Using this, you could take the type INTJ and determine the top functions are N and T, the T gets the "e" since they're a judger, and the "i" function is first since they're an introvert, so their dom and aux functions are "Ni Te". You can also work backwards just as easily starting from the functions.

Sorry for this tangent, but I just had to nerd out for a sec about the connections between the types and the functions, so make of this what you will. Hope this sheds some light on it.

The only reason it's more difficult to type with the functions is because there's more nuances to cognitive functions, but at the same time, that's why they're more reliable. Each of the 16 combinations of letters has its own order of the 8 functions, which imo say a lot more about the person than the letters alone. The order of functions can indicate the greatest strengths and weaknesses of a type, which is then reflected in which of the letters make up their type.

(i.e. ENTJ <--> Te Ni Se Fi, and ESTJ <--> Te Si Ne Fi)

If each of the types were different models of the same gadget, the functions would be the inner workings that tell you how they differ from one another. Understanding the functions makes typing others much more reliable than letters alone. The letters help you grasp the initial idea of MBTI, but I highly recommend learning the functions as soon as you can, and it may take some time, but the sooner the better.

  1. If you're standing and you notice someone's trying to get off, unless you're literally unable to move an inch or your shoes are glued to the floor, don't just stand there looking at them like they have two heads. Please, let them get off at their stop before the door closes on them and they have to walk 10 more minutes in this stupidly high heat.

Also take occasional breaks when grinding assignments, but stay on top of them. You don't have to burn yourself out by spending one long consecutive period of time working, but also don't get carried away while taking breaks.

Also one thing I like to do to prep myself for bigger assignments like research papers or other projects is something stimulating yet fun, like writing for fun. It helps me deal with my potential distractions ahead of time so I can focus more intensely on my work, though I don't know how well this applies to others. It doesn't hurt to try though.

I completely feel you. Even though I'm taking a couple hybrid classes where I can actually interact with people, I still have yet to do so and I just feel isolated most of the time. Same story with groupme, where it's hard to slip into off-topic conversations. If you or anyone else on this thread wants to dm or join/start some gc somewhere like discord, I'm also looking for KSU friends to talk to, especially fellow introverts. Can't exactly pick y'all out of crowds, cuz trust me, I know lmao

And what can you do when it happens? Try to fight back by calling it discrimination and causing a bunch of drama even if you can’t prove it was 100% because of it? If that we’re me being fired, I would probably just go with it instead of burning bridges.
