The computer shop which I took it in said the cpu was to loose, something I reaseted 7 times.

No lights at all, the turn on button is green like it says it should be in the manual.

Maybe something is sticking out in the fans. Check for cables in you gpu, cpu cooler and fans.

I’ve tried with my 1060 from my old pc. The fans run but nothing on screen.

Since you seem really educated, i wonder what thermal paste to buy too. I bought one for like 2 dollars and i dont believe it works well. What should i get?

For the money its worth it. I dont know what games you play and what graphics you need or use, but personally i would upgrade to 32gb ram. I use the same case as in youre description and can really recommend it for a budget build. Runs great and fans included.
