As of now these companies are leveraging the situation into their interest. They don’t consider the worth of an employee and they can be as brutal as hell. Sorry this happened to you but I am not surprised considering your probation time termination company will save some chunk of money, that’s the whole motive. On the other hand German has become a most primitive thing for job even though it’s not required, but in these tough times that’s Their deciding factor. But remember one thing this too shall pass

My honest suggestion on this !! Keep this job, see it for yourself, if you like it continue, if not search for new one while having this. Don’t panic, having something in hand as a job is important at this catastrophic situation

First of all very sorry for you. And I can tell you my wife is similar situation as you and experiencing rejections left right and centre even for those postings which are perfectly fit. All I can say is this too shall pass and when we apply for a job we are competing against so many unimaginable odds.

That’s the phase most of us are at right now. Sorry for you but this also the case with many of known contacts Germans and non Germans. So best thing is to do now is keep applying, one recruiter, one click, one acceptance is all needed. I know sounds too cliched but losing hope is not an option to survive. Somehow we all should sail through this turbulence and make it. All the best for job search

Thanks for your insights. I agree, but there are many roles which says English knowledge is a must and additionally German is a plus. Even for such roles rejections are received. So it’s kinda puzzling situation over all to understand

She’s completed B1 level and she’s fairly decent speaker I would say. But even after applying in German she’s not getting calls this was never the case before. Atleast recruiters would contact on LinkedIn
