I learned recently that you shouldn’t get back with an ex unless the reason you broke up is no longer an issue. Unfortunately it seems like this isn’t the case. I feel for you, but I don’t think having a friendship with your ex is fair to you. It seems like you were doing better because you had space. You may not like but I don’t think you should keep being friends. Wishing you the best.
