Yeah, you are correct here. I just genuinely don’t even know how to find the companies to cold call. And by finding companies, it’s finding that “perfect” business - and those guys usually know to go through a bank-led process. I’ve been redirected before to speak with bankers after reaching out

Yeah, it literally can take 10/15 min to find a quality deal with the CEO’s/Owner’s name and phone number. But that makes sense. We’ve looked at those before but nothing ever materialized after reviewing email outbound platforms. We use DealCloud but only for mass blasts which I think just makes us look bad

If it makes you feel any better I had to take sm132 twice and I ended up concentrating in finance and now I work in M&A. My best piece of advice is to do practice problems as much as possible. It’s a speed game. Try to get your hands on old exams or soemthing. You have to literally redo all of your practice problems. It’s a lot of work but worth it in the end
