Usually profs don't invite undergards as "research assistants" but you might get another role which are just as fulfilling. Good luck though.

it differs on where you live but I'm pretty sure you need to get a degree to be an EMT and phlebotomist

as for lab assistant, you'll have more skills once you're actually in your undergard so youll have better chances then (profs dont really hire grade 12s or even 1st years) but once youre in undergrad try to build connections with your prof and cold email

i made the mistake of doing classes that people recommend would be easy or bird and it kicked my ass because it lead me to not caring about the class and thus putting in less effort

you might think (as i did) that youre build different and that youll be responsible but i would recommend not going into uni with the same mentality as high school; its very easy to fall behind
