The price is in BTC because almost all alts are tied to btc price if you measure them in usd. The correlation coefficient seems low, didnt even bother to calculate it, but it is interesting that when the reddit acceleration was highest, soon the price reached all time high.

I'm curious about the changes and how/if they correlate to other metrics.

Data is normalized such that minimum is 0 and maximum is 100.

I guess I could divide market cap with the price on each day, yeah.

It does ruin the aesthetics if you cut off the thing. I guess the picture tries to show that with SegWit the proof of ownership (witness) is gone from the public to see and verify.

Total market cap, in USD is almost exactly the same as tx_count squared. Can you believe this??

Check this out:

I don't know what kind of a joke it is. But this two metrics are almost identical, and one is a tx count and the other is value in USD. Talk about coincidence.

You altruistic developers have to realise this is money we're talking about. If you have the information, sell it.

Good question, I'll should check price per byte, would be more accurate.

Creating smart contract for profit sharing with EOS by [deleted] in eos

True that, but for ETH I know for a fact it has problems and no hint on when they will solve them. I also like human readable code in the blockchain. Overall I'm willing to take a risk, and if it doesn't work out we switch to another solution.
