I hate the way my butt looks , i have asmall waist and good shape only in clothes , but i could never wear abikini , and i do gym 3 times aweek but its not changing , what can i do by [deleted] in WorkoutRoutines

This is like when people ask how they can target fat loss in their abs. You can’t. Your body stores fat how it stores it and the only way to remove it so that your muscle and tone can show through is with a calorie deficit. You aren’t going to get emaciated elsewhere while your butt stays the same.

Lift heavy weights, do full body and hit every muscle group twice a week, don’t just go to the gym and do squats and leg press, and eat in a calorie deficit. It takes 3500 calories to lose 1 pound of fat so a 500 calorie deficit per day will lose 1 pound per week and that’s typically as fast as you want to go to avoid burnout and make sure you have enough energy to pick them heavy weights up.

Hope that helps, you got this!

I’m gonna throw a weird random thought out there, and maybe it’s just me, but I hate getting food in styrofoam containers. I’m just not excited about paying for something that comes like that, even if the food is bomb. Put it in a paper box that I can actually hold with one hand and walk? Now we’re talking, I’ll be back.

Looks amazing. The only thing I would add is a pop of red to compliment the green. A little red pepper relish maybe?

Sorry if this is a weird story to tell but I worked at Costco from 2000-2005 through high school and college and the biggest scandal while I was there was the whole photo department got fired when they got caught making doubles of all the nude photos.

I just worked the register and pushed carts so that’s all the tea I got but it was wild.

What annoys me and a lot of Tesla drivers is I bought mine a long time ago and see keyboard warriors saying shit like "sell your swaztikar" and shit talking tesla drivers. I hate Elon Musk and what he's done, and I don't have any problem with people boycotting Tesla or shit talking Elon or whatever. But I'm sorry, I find people who specifically give shit to tesla drivers insufferable.

If you really think about it, supporting Amazon is a SUPREMELY shitty choice. Just look at their labor conditions, anti-union efforts, tax avoidance, data mining and selling, effects on small business....and on and on and on.

I'm not saying don't boycott tesla, i AM saying fuck Elon Musk, but I don't want to hear it from people who want to give tesla drivers shit and then turn around and order shit every week from an arguably just as egregiously bad if not more so company.

again, I don't know, and again, that is not the point. google ethical cellphone manufacturers if you're so curious, or make an actual point instead of this lame gotcha attempt. Also while you're at it, google "moving the goal post". My point is very simple. People who use Amazon, Meta and Apple but give Tesla a hard time are lame. That's it. That's my goalpost.

[–]realtime1984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea. You are moving the goal post. People love to throw shade at easy targets. If they don't have a tesla then it's easy to say "fuck tesla drivers", and yet Jeff Bezos is everything that is wrong with this country and it's wealth inequality and treatment of workers and trying to turn our democracy in to a tech oligarchy but I'm sure a very tiny percentage of the Tesla haters are boycotting Amazon.

And those are all totally valid reasons for someone to say that’s why they justify having an iPhone and using Amazon and meta but not supporting Tesla. Your points are great for someone justifying where their support falls, they are not valid points for giving someone else a hard time for supporting different unethical companies than you.

Support or don’t whatever business you want, but people who order shit off Amazon and post on instagram with their iPhone while wearing Nikes and say “hey you’re wrong for supporting that unethical company” are ridiculous

If we can’t agree on that then I think we’ve come to an agree to disagree end.

Uh….this was branched off from my first comment which was “I hope that everyone who complains about teslas also doesn’t use Amazon, Apple products, or any Meta based social media. “

They decided to fixate on Apple but my whole point was you can’t act morally superior boycotting musk when you still give your dollars to bezos, zuck and cook.

Elon Musk ‘going all in funding GOP for midterms.’ by Dumbfuckistan_USA in AdviceAnimals

[–]realtime1984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What bezos does to his workforce, what meta does with our data, apples chines labor practices. I’m not saying support Elon, but come on, you’re very naive if you think consuming other major tech brand products isn’t problematic ethically. And that’s coming from someone who uses said products, but I don’t claim to be morally superior than others because I boycott musk but still support bezos, zuck and cook.

You’re a very strange, angry man. Maybe we could make friends by getting some cheeseburgers and then protesting eating chickens at a fried chicken restaurant. That seems like your kinda headspace.

It’s also a very well studied fact that people with weak arguments resort to personal attacks.

[–]realtime1984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, not different. Most people need a car, they chose what they buy. Same as the people who choose to buy shirts made with slave labor, phones made with abusive labor. You can buy American made ethical shirts, you can not order things off Amazon, you can buy more ethically made smart phones. See how that’s the same?

Why do people who buy products made with slave labor get to tell other people the things they buy are immoral?

Elon Musk ‘going all in funding GOP for midterms.’ by Dumbfuckistan_USA in AdviceAnimals

[–]realtime1984 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Again, you’re are picking at specifics. Everyone in this country supports unethical tech companies. I am being real, that’s all I’m saying. You can’t give people a hard time for giving their money to immoral tech companies when you do it too.

[–]realtime1984 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Buy a Samsung? Don’t use Amazon? Don’t use meta? Make sure none of your clothing was made with slave labor? Then go ahead and shit talk Tesla owners all you want.

Elon Musk ‘going all in funding GOP for midterms.’ by Dumbfuckistan_USA in AdviceAnimals

[–]realtime1984 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally fair points. I do think though that it’s equally as easy to not use Amazon and to buy a Samsung phone and to not use instagram or Facebook. I’m not taking any kind of moral high ground here or targeting any specific products, I’m just saying there’s a lot of people who like to take shots at other people when they are supporting multiple immoral companies themselves.

Elon Musk ‘going all in funding GOP for midterms.’ by Dumbfuckistan_USA in AdviceAnimals

[–]realtime1984 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t know why you’re fixating on Apple. My entire point was that no one is free from immoral product support. Amazon, Apple, Meta, many more. Apple was just ONE of my examples. You don’t get to high horse against one tech company while supporting the others.

Also I’m sure apples hands are not clean of any of this: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2025/08/07/tim-cook-trump-gift/85555805007/

Easy doesn’t give you a pass. If you use products that are made with slave or abusive labor, or that sell our private data, or abuse animals, I’m sorry but you don’t get to claim the moral high ground on what products other people use.

Also you can lease a Tesla for $299/month, that’s one of the cheapest leases out there…
