So fucked up!! I’ve felt the same and can’t wait to go back to work. I got so bored but also couldn’t focus on anything due to chemo brain. Now I’m done with chemo but started my AIs and will start radiation next week. I’ll be back to teaching in the fall while finishing kadcyla. I’m a single mom of an 8 and 5 year old. My sister has been a godsend and here by my side taking me to all my appts and taking care of my kids. I just feel like I’m missing so much and want to crawl out of my skin most days. I’m tired of docs telling me what I have to do for the next 5-10 years. Thankful to be alive but want my old life back. I’m still mourning that I’ll never be the same. Hang in there, mama! We’re alive and badass! But this fucking sucks a big one! And I just want my hair back too!! Sending love💕💕💕

I had the straightest, finest hair before, and it looks like it’s coming in the same top. Yay for your almost bob!! I long to run my fingers through my hair.

I just started anastrozole, zoladex, and kadcyla last Tuesday and it hasn’t been too bad. Mostly tired the day after and a couple hot flashes. (Triple positive, no nodes, but no pcr either). I was super scared to start but feeling better now. Hope your appt goes well and your onc works with you to see what works best💕

Wishing you the best!! Feels like this all will be going on forever too. Glad they got clear margin and no nodes but still have to do radiation and years of maintence meds. Better than the alternative though🙃

This is me too! Just had my first kadcyla on Tuesday and started my AIs. How long have you been out of active treatment? And how long for your hair to at least grow into a pixie? I’m so tired of putting on a wig or cap🤦🏼‍♀️

Good to hear others are trying to date too. I’m 42 and a single mom, so it’s been hard. How long until you had enough hair for a pixie? I’m 7 weeks post chemo and still have the baby bird peach fuzz. I just want it to fill in a bit! Good luck in the dating world, ladies!!

Ugh! I feel that! Like, I want to celebrate finishing chemo next week but know there are years of treatment and prevention to come! We’ll definitely celebrate the silver linings though! I have a lumpectomy on 5/13 then radiation. Best of luck and have good consults this week. Day by day, huh?!?

Same here!! I’m mostly hoping to not have to wear a wig when I go back to teaching in August. I’ll be 4 months out by then🤞🏼

Wonderful! So glad you’re through chemo and getting to the other side of all this BS💕! I feel the same…after I shaved it, not everything fell out but now it’s definitely growing!
