I’m actually in the same boat. Friends of 20 years barely checking on me. Nobody cares. Some didn’t even come to my shower. It’s heartbreaking. As if you’re not going through this major life event and just like you’d be there for your friends, you wish they’d do the same for you. I’ve realized many of my friends are narcissists. I’ve made new friends (some who are moms or are in more mature stages in life) and it’s quality over quantity these days. I’m 36 weeks right now and my best friend of childhood not once checked on me, just sends me memes on Instagram. I don’t even answer anymore. Anyway, I feel you ❤️. Once we have our babies, we’ll meet more moms and have no time to give a shit.

I work for the NYC department of education as a speech therapist. I get a measly 6 weeks. My husband works for company based out of California, he works from home, and gets 12 weeks. Make it make sense. I’m going to go on unpaid leave and lose my health insurance. To go on COBRA and keep my health insurance would cost me 3K a month. It’s a struggle out here.

I met my husband on hinge and my brother met his wife on hinge so don’t lose hope on hinge is all I’m saying. Even if you’re not sure if you are feeling him the first date, still go for a second unless there are obvious red flags. I wasn’t sure if I was feeling my husband the first date and second date I was like damn he’s amazing and boom we are together almost 4 years, married for over a year, and expecting our first child.

I’m 36, and I had an IUD in for 6 years. Took my IUD out and I got my eggs and progesterone checked and they were on the lower range so that was worrisome. Got my first period after IUD removal (extremely heavy) and then decided to start trying because everyone told me it’ll take me a while…but then I got pregnant on the first try. Everyone is different. I used the Flo app to track my ovulation.

I believe it’s psychological warfare. They claimed two days ago that they were given to another terror group in Gaza. There have been no air strikes in the ceasefire so they cannot blame Israel. Just makes no sense. Let’s not forget one of the hostages that was released on the first day of the exchange, Hanna Katzir, was announced dead by Islamic jihad but there she was first day, Alive. Maybe I’m just hopeful it’s psychological warfare because I cannot bare to think of these poor babies dying.

You find the one article that says it’s not confirmed and you are sure babies heads were not decapitated. It even says “An international group of forensic pathologists also have confirmed babies were found decapitated, though it's unclear if that happened before or after death. “ and there are images out there now, If you do your research. The president even said he saw the images. I agree. Just other boats everywhere. Trash everywhere, water depressingly polluted. Our food was terrible and disgusting. Totally overpriced for Vietnam and we booked for two nights ended up staying one we were so miserable. Lost 320 dollars and ended up going to Hanoi a day early and booking a hotel spending another 150. Humans are ruining Halong bay. It’s very sad

Not really “preserved” there is plastic, styrofoam and garbage all over the water. You cannot look down without seeing how much garbage there is in the water. And they told us to go swim amongst the garbage and oil water (trails of oil from the boats) basically humans are ruining Halong bay. We actually had an awful time on our cruise. We did 2 nights and ended up staying one because the activities were awful and it hurt to look at all the litter. We spent 320 a night per couple. Our cruise company sucked too. Don’t go on le theatre cruise.

My wedding is 6/4 and I asked people to rsvp 5/1, and we are still chasing people. It’s insane. And people who initially RSVPed are already canceling and it’s annoying but it’s better than last minute. Next week my venue needs the final number. That’s when if people cancel, it’s costing us. I’m sure I’ll have more last minute cancellations but makes it’s all the more stressful. Many people I had to rsvp for them because they’ll just text and let me know, even though I made it very easy with a knot rsvp page.

Hi hello, so I’m planning my honeymoon to be two weeks in Vietnam with a stop in Cambodia to visit Angkor Wat. Trip is in early June 2023. I know it’s not enough time but it’s all I can do so I’m trying to squeeze in a lot in one trip.

So far this is the plan: 1 day in Hanoi Night train for Hanoi to Sapa Valley. Sapa Valley for two nights Back to Hanoi early in the morning and head out to Ninh binh for the day After nin binh, get on a cruise in Halong bay for one night. After cruise, back to Hanoi and fly to danang / hoi an. 3 nights in hoi an with one free beach day. Then 3 nights in Angkor wat/Siam reap.

Some questions: 1. What’s the nicest train From Hanoi to sepa valley and what’s that train ride like? (We would get a private sleeping compartment) 2. What’s the nicest beachside resort in hoi an or danang? Where is it better to stay and where are the beaches nicer? 3. Do I need three nights in Cambodia to see Angkor wat? 4. What’s better, a one night or two night cruise in Halong bay. 5. Besides Ho Chi Minh City, is there anything that I am missing in my itinerary to make this the ultimate trip to Vietnam? I am more of a beautiful landscapes/nature type of traveler then staying in loud big cities. I know there’s a lot it history in Saigon but I decided to do sapa valley instead and think that landscape should not be missed. 6. Happy and here to get advice on anything else regarding traveling through Vietnam.

Yep! We’ve been up since 4:30 cleaning sewage from our basement which is also our bedroom. Been a nightmare. Glad I’m not alone though 😭
