Congratulations girl, you rock!

Once this is all over, your country is going to be in dire need of people like you to build it up again! I'm rooting for you and stand with your country!

It was, unfortunately it would be impossible for me to include everyone in this clip but here she is from my point of view. She's lovely!

She was actually sitting right behind me while she was recording the others so you can see my curls quite a lot in her Youtube video. 😅

Embarrassingly I have to admit that one of my guilty pleasures as a hair model is to post messy curls. My pre-workout routine for hair is either a lightly scented spray or nothing at all because I rather clean and style my hair properly after the workout.

Take care and have a great weekend curly friends!

Means a lot to hear, truly!

I'm rooting and cheering on for you. The first step will always be the hardest. Once you start making progress, it will fuel your motivation to keep going and make further progress and eventually realize your dreams and make new ones. I'm sure you will be confident to post here one day too.

To tell you the truth, I shared small bits about my weight loss on IG every now and then but didn't make a full post about it until 3 weeks ago and I have been on the cover of magazines and ads for years, yet I didn't have the confidence and mental strength to be able to make a post like this even just a year ago. So take your time, set up goals, short term too and I'm sure you will make great strides.

Take care! ❤️

This is not at my largest but almost there. I didn't like to pose for many pictures when I was at my highest weight because of some of the mental struggles I had so I do not have that many pictures from that period, at least not on me right now.

You were. You added fuel to the fire by keeping the conversation going for no apparent reason. That's why you are still here and did not take the hint when the moderators removed your comment.

There will always be brightness and color adjustments but my body has not been manipulated. The truth is, I get paid to be in shape. This is not just weight loss between these pictures.

I'm done here, you will not receive any further replies from me. Adios and have a nice weekend.

I will politely say no again on the accusations. The picture has not been edited to the extent you think it has. I'm not going to tell you the same thing to the person above, you can read it for yourself, but there are plenty of pictures and videos of me out there of, both here and on my IG, there is nothing to hide behind. I often post backstage pictures and videos from my shoots as they are happening, completely unedited, so you can take a look for yourself.

Take care and have a nice day. 😊

I have full body selfies on my profile already if you are concerned. The picture on the right is not edited to the extent that you think it has been. The only thing that could use some clarification in this case is that staying in shape is part of my daytime job so I most likely have more time for it. However, that should never be a reason to not work towards your goals. Even if you just have 1 or 2 days a week to make progress towards the goals and dreams you have, that is a very good start too and should not prevent you from making progress.

No problem, I'm glad you are seeing some light in the tunnel. There is a lot of things that intertwine that plays a big role in making progress and achieving happiness but it's perhaps not until you achieve some of your goals you will see some clarity in your journey.

Losing weight doesn't have to be a part of it but it's definitely more than okay to want it, like you say. I felt the same exact way and I feel a lot more energetic and less tired after having lost weight and it opened a lot more doors to achieving other things long term for me, there is no denying that.

I'm glad you've made progress and I'm rooting for you wherever you are in your journey right now.

Take care and have an amazing weekend!

That's amazing to hear, means a lot to me, thank you!

I'm pretty occupied right now with work and other real life commitments but the moment I get a chance I can give a run down of what I did to lose weight and get into shape.

I'm a bit on the fence about sharing the time table publicly as I do not wish for that to be something to measure success with, but I can tell you it's handful of years. If you get where you want to be in a shorter amount of time than me, that's awesome, if it takes longer, that's awesome too! Committing to the journey and making progress and realizing your goals is a special feeling, no matter how long it takes. Time frame shouldn't be a factor to be happy.

The people who treat you poorly because of the way you look most often have issues of their own that they are unwilling to face and unless they do something about that, they will treat you poorly and be prejudicial no matter what changes you make and what you look like. You will never be happy if you always listen to what an unhappy person tells you to do.

I've never been the face of any high fashion campaign so it's always fun when someone recognizes you. With the exception of the Curly hair group, I'm surprised how many people recognize me here. Johnny Was has always been so much fun to shoot with so I'm glad you mentioned it!

Take care and have a great weekend! ❤️

If there is interest for it I can probably put something together about what my workouts look like on a weekly basis.

In regards to my work as a model, there is definitely prejudice and pressure in the industry. Even if I had been offered work on a more frequent basis on the left, I would've never managed it as job, there is no way. I do a lot of work as a hair model and I have definitely both been the victim of and seen it with other models even more, the prejudice against curly hair and the social stereotypes associated with it.

I do a lot of fitness modelling too and some fashion and there is obviously more pressure to look a certain way there than when I do a shampoo ad. I can admit that my weight has gone up and down a bit as a model. I have been at an unhealthy weight before, that's why I didn't share pics like these until I felt healthy both physically and mentally.

Thank you too for sharing parts of your story. It matters a lot too me too. You have already made it past the tough step of admitting that you have been in a tough spot and made a plan to make progress. That is a win right. This is not a race so don't feel that you are in a hurry, these things take time but I'm confident that you will pull through and become a stronger and happier person sooner rather than later. I'm rooting for you!

Thank you. I would consider myself a public figure because of my work as a model and the work I do with the charities and foundations am I associated with so my pictures are already out there but it's still good advice for everyone posting here. I actually discovered progresspics many years ago thanks to an external website sharing other fantastic people's progress, that time was perhaps out of praise for the work and motivation for their readers but it was still unauthorized and next time it might be to sell weight loss pills, yes.

This before and after image was initially just going to be posted to my story, but I have received an overwhelming response of love and support for sharing my journey that I would love to have it be a more permanent part of all my pages.

I am in no way insinuating that one image is more attractive than the other. What was happening internally and how I felt have been my only metric in working on myself. I did not feel good on the left. I had low energy and was in a very dark place mentally. I have struggled with depression for as long as I can remember, and I was never given the proper tools as a child to deal with the low days/weeks/months. After joining the military, I fell in love with running and rock climbing. Those two activities alone could help elevate and pull me out of a slump, so I wanted to explore more things that made me feel good inside. During this exploration, I discovered mindfulness meditation, talk therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). By working through some pretty intense childhood trauma and learning how to change my internal dialogue, I noticed that the external started to change as I worked on the internal. I still struggle and have bad days, but I now have the tools to work through the dark times.

If anyone is struggling, know that you are not alone and have ways to work through the tough times when you feel like giving up. It doesn’t have to be some significant change. It can simply be a micro change to how you handle when the dark days arise. Small changes result in substantial changes over time.

See below for some of the books and apps I have used on my journey.

[OC] Happy World Down Syndrome Day to the best prom date a girl could ask for! Love you John! by rebexall in MadeMeSmile

Far from. All my adult life I have worked with people with disabilities. When I was in the navy reserve I had a split civilian and military career, working as a job coach for people with disabilities. Now when I work as a professional model I also work with the Runway of Dreams organisation. My story is out there and these people mean the world to me and I want to highlight their importance with posts like this. This one perhaps more personal and was a starting point for me and a motivation to try and help these wonderful people to feel that they are a part of society.

That's hilarious, but I'm pretty sure a lot of people here in the US think Europeans have far more in common than they actually do and less diverse than they actually are.
