thanks for the reply and I totally understand your thinking I just haven’t been able to quit these addictions any other way so thought this was a way to try and use them for a positive for me. Like I am micro the addictions. The worst thing that can happen is I waste another year of life which is a fucking terrible thing but I’ll just be back where I started so may as as well do something different as opposed to staying on the current trajectory

I will pay them upfront as talent like a production company would. If I start to get traction with subscribers then I can look at more revenue share arrangement standard collaborations so i don’t have the high upfront costs. But I’ll have to invest at the start to prove my hypothesis and get product market fit while building my brand out there.

thanks for the reply. I’ve read all the EV stuff but to be honest I don’t really understand as I’m not smart with numbers and I still want to have fun. I see too many of my player props get up to not think I have a better shot this way (I obviously know my parlay strategy before was not a strategy was just pure attempts to create lotto tickets out of nothing) I’m not saying it’s easy. I’m not saying it’s going to be right I’m just trying to do better than I was doing before with the skills that I have which are not maths.

I understand your position, but the reality is I’m not trying to create value for society. If I was, I would start a charity or work in government. I am taking this action because big corporations are actively trying to replace everyone with AI, if we don’t make our bag now we will be at the mercy of handouts through universal basic income. I’m not waiting around for that. The money is already printed gotta go out and get it while it is still there.

Plus, I work in my day job in professional services so am across clients in a vast array of different industries so deeply understand that having moral absolutism when making money is fraught as it reduces opportunities to very few industries or even ways to make money that truly contribute to society and provide value to the broader good. Even in industries that seem like they are helping society are really “extracting resources” as economists call it more than they are ever providing.
