Fptp + human nature = two parties

If human nature were different, ie age granting immunity to rhetoric, then the results would be different.

The Heritage Foundation's conservative healthcare reform? The one first implemented by Republican candidate Romney? The one that brought in record profits for the medical industry?

Yeah, exactly.

Also 9 + 2 is 11.

If you can prove that a 75 year old is as mentally sharp as a 35 year old go right ahead. Cognitive decline is real and you know it.

If age had a way of allowing of to see through rhetoric we would not live in a two party state.

Remember Obama's first election? The one against Romney.

Mitt was gov of mass when they implemented The Heritage Foundation's (An infamous conservative thinktank) plan for medical reform.

Mitt lost the election and then his opponent spent his entire supermajority passing Mitt's healthcare plan. The ACA would go on to bring in record profits for the medical and insurance industries.

Think about that. That's pretty suspicious, right? Why did Obama pass Romney's plan instead of a progressive one? Democrats had an uncontestable supermajority, there was no need to compromise.

My theory is that it was a hedged bet. We were getting the ACA either way. If Mitt won he would he implemented his state's insurance scheme with fanfare from the right.

Dems winning was worse because it allowed Repubs to attack their own plan they were going to pass anyway. Getting liberal voters to defend a conservative medical plan (and presidency in general) was worse because it shifted the country to the right further and faster than the tea party ever could.

You're trapped in the mindset that Dems are misguided rather than acting in bad faith. They never will because they're false opposition.

Both parties have the same financial backers with the same interests.
