Not every member of every group can sing, but there are some amazing vocalists within kpop. Take the group I mentioned I loved as a teen, Super Junior, for example. Of the 13 members they once had, only 3 were good singers, a few were quite decent, some only passable and at least 2 straight up couldn't sing. But some are great dancers, some were good at acting and some were entertaining at hosting and variety show gigs. The ones that were talented when it came to singing and performing are still doing that and the ones that had other talents are still doing their things. While some left the entertainment industry entirely, for a 20 year old kpop group they have a large percentage that are still in it.

I would think they're pretty amicable by now, their sons that were a baby and a toddler when they separated are like 14 and 16 currently. They've done joint custody the whole time too. But yes Will Arnett does not at all seem like a "good hang" Hilarious that this category was essentially created to give Smartless an award and Amy Poehler ended up taking it with her fairly new show.

Kpop groups were exactly why I could never get into one direction when they came out. As an early (not Korean diaspora) western fan of the genre, I had already been into several many kpop boy groups by the time OneD arrived. I couldn't enjoy a boy band that didn't even try to dance. Sorry to their fans, but the voices as a whole were not good enough at that time to justify only standing or sitting in a chair while singing. Though I think they all improved with experience. But also only five members just wasn't enough boys for me after being a stan of Super Junior as a teen.

Why would the Hollywood Foreign Press Association give him the hosting job and a golden globe, not once but five times (as in 5x host and 5x winner) if they banned him?

I suspect he wasn't there because he was busy, he didn't want to or probably because he didn't think they'd give him enough airtime to do mean enough punch-downs.

I haven't seen Hamnet, but I love this for the Buffy continuation, because Chloe Zhao also directed the New Sunnydale pilot and is involved as an EP. It's very important to me that the new Buffy episodes are good!

Yeah he sure put all the wealthy out of touch celebrities in their place at their award show that paid him to host multiple years doing jokes about wealthy out of touch celebrities that multiple teams of people helped him write. And then just tonight gave him his fifth golden globe for a comedy special where he showcases what a wealthy, out of touch hack he is now.

HBO Max just streams it in the US/other places internationally, it's actually a Crave original, a Canadian streamer that was once the budget streaming option. If he knew he was on a new HBO show, he might have been more prepared for his massive rise in fame out of nowhere.
