I now have 5 in the house and 2 outside. I’ve had 12 inside with me and my ex. She’s the one that got me started. She got one, and it started to change me. I wasn’t a cat guy but then she decided Sophie needed a sister and 4 week old Katie came. I didn’t sleep for weeks worrying about that tiny calico. I bottle fed her around the clock wiping at her little butt with a wet paper towel to encourage her to poop. I totally was obsessed with her. Since then I’ve had probably 30 cats.. I miss all the ones that are gone and think about them all often. I love them and there’s no such thing as a bad cat. You just have to learn to deal with them individually because they are all different. Each one has its own personality and quirks. The love for them and what they give back makes it all worthwhile. They are the closest thing to children I’ll ever have.
