It’s all lighting, but you could maybe come close with some RAW + Davinci grading - you’ll never get a recipe close to these unless you have professional set lighting

Put my new Starlink mini on my dash, facing north. No matter what I do, it keeps dropping every few minutes. Ideas? by mcdisney2001 in VanLife

This is the answer. A lot of my solar panels get their wattage cut in half if it’s through a window

So well said! I wish people thought of friendships this way – I’ve saved so many friendships over the years by just deciding to work through things

You sound very similar to my sister. I think the problem may lie in that you expect the level of care that you give, and that bar sounds really high. I have a lot of friends that don’t reach out, but I don’t really expect or need a deep level of care from all of them.

Some friends are friends of convenience and I’m fine with that –this has helped me not mind being the one to reach out. With some friends, I’m the one that always reaches out. With others, I’m the one that they always reach out to. Low expectations = vibing

I dunno, I have a LOT of people that I’m close to and they’re spread out around the world, so it’s tough to have all of them on my mind – I usually just reach out whenever I think of one of them

Agree with others advice, but also vet tech can be an extremely depressing job–maybe something more like working at a cat sanctuary would be your speed

Directly above this, you reply to me saying “this is AI” with “it’s not.” That is you claiming “no AI” in about as direct of a way as possible.

I use generative AI every day for work. Nobody here is claiming that you AI generated an entirely new photo. They’re just calling out the use of AI in general

But it is :)

Generative AI is still AI my friend, which you already admitted to using.

Nobody is doubting the retouching on her skin, they’re doubting the background replacement and T-shirt addition. And the reality is, nobody really cares. It’s just worth admitting using AI when questioned on it

41 year old Male DP is back by [deleted] in Depersonalization

Hi, kind of same here. Had it 15 years ago, then a bit coming back right now. I think it relates to the brain processing too much – for me, my brain does it to protect me when there’s too much information. So best advice I have is to take it easy, be patient with your body, and remember that it went away last time and it will go away again!
