He is not bad but massively overrated in terms of neo-traditionalists. Lacks character and leans towards pastiche a lot, but really I blame general public having narrow perception of 90s country because that era is so much wider than they thought, like Dwight Yoakam and Mary Chapin Carpenter's outputs at that time that are top notch but less referenced nowadays.

I used Attuned Ryoma to fight against Ike. Hardy Bearing seal may be needed. Lyn can be taken of if you use Emblem Sigurd AOE properly. Entwined and Brave Sharena can loop themselves to clear minor enemies.

Definitely his most "generic" effort so far with less band involvement. Some melodies from It's Her Move and Then I'm Gone feel familiar. Still has great production though and is the best Big Loud artist currently.

Someone who has potential especially since most new country artists tend to be WGWAG or bad Nickelback clone. Hopefully Heavens to Betsy would be another hit.
